The purpose of corporate branding is to clearly and effectively establish and reinforce AIAGs image across our organization and products. This unified and professional look helps viewers easily recognize our products publications, electronic communications, events as being AIAG-branded or produced. The following guidelines provide basic rules to follow in designing the various items that feature or use the AIAG name, logo or associated brand images and pieces.
Our Logo
Color Variations
There are three usable color variations of the logo. No other alternatives are allowed. Pantone Cool Gray 11 or CMYK = 0c, 0m, 0y, 80k (RGB = 88, 89, 91 / HTML = 58595b) on light backgrounds
Care should be taken to ensure that the logo always has a good contrast from the background to give the best impact and legibility. See page 7, Unacceptable Appearance, for examples.
This buffer ensures that the logo is not crowded, but clear and legible instead.
Resizing
When importing or placing the logo into any application, it is critical that the height and width be kept in the proper proportion. Care should be taken to keep the aspect ratio the same when resizing the AIAG logo. In the Microsoft Office suite, this is done by resizing using the corner handles only, indicated by the red circles below. Do not resize using the side, top or bottom handles.
In other software (e.g., Adobe products, QuarkXPress, etc.), be sure that the height and width fields are locked together or use the Scale function from the menus. Not enough clear space

Publications
18
AIAG produces publications and technical manuals written by AIAG volunteer committees. In some cases, the publications are developed in cooperation with AIAGs international sister organizations. To ensure that AIAG publications have a consistent look and feel, they share common cover designs (both print and electronic versions), are formatted in a similar fashion, and are printed using the same specifications. This section will illustrate the cover and page designs, for both AIAG and global publications, as well as detailing the print specifications required. All templates can be obtained from AIAGs Marketing Coordinator. Templates include explanations/specifications to ensure proper layout across all AIAG-developed publications.

AIAG offers training developed and presented by external training providers. This material is not AIAG-owned and is developed by these external sources. As a result, there is not a standard template for this material since there are multiple variables involved (e.g., training provider, instructor preference, material being taught, etc.).
