FABERS TO SAIL IN AUGUST


Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Faber are

going to sail to Japan, the Lord willing, in August of 1954. They


will establish churches on the ne glected is'land of Hokkaido where 4,000,000 hungry souls wait to hear

the true message of God.


Ernest D. Faber is the son of

Mr. & Mrs'. Harvey Faber of Minburn, Iowa. He was born near Minburn, on August 30, 1926, and. spent most of his life in and around that region. While serving in the Army, he spent several months with the occupational forces in Japan. He graduated from the Cincinnati Bible Seminary in 1952 and completed a year of additional study in May of this year. He serv

His wife, Neva Ellen (Fate), is the daughter of Mrs. Delia Fate, and a native of Clay Center, Ne braska. She was bom April 24,
1928. She taught in the elementry schools of Nebraska prior to en
tering the Cincinnati Bible Semi nary. She graduated in May of 1951. During her years at the Seminary and following her grad uation, she was active in the youth
work at Columbia Church of Christ in Cincinnati. Ernest and Neva

island of Japan which is untouch ed by New Testament Christian ity. Here approximately 4,000,000 people reside in an area of 34,080 square miles, which is about the

It has been some time since we have visited with many of you. For others we have just returned from our visit together. We have enjoyed being with each and every one, whether it was for a few short moments or several days. It was a Joy to renew fellowship with you at recent conventions and rallies. We trust that you will regard this as a personal greeting. When your busy schedule permits you to write us of your activities for Christ, we will be overjoyed to have such fellow
