The all-new front bumper and grille have a look thats rugged with a sense of refinement. Lower body cladding with painted door garnish carries the vehicles aggressive stance through to the newly styled rear bumper, featuring dual exhaust with chrome finishers. Front and rear bumper underguards, fog lights, and rear privacy tinted glass all help round out the luxurious look. Add a power moonroof, chrome door handles and available 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels, and you get a striking statement piece that is the perfect marriage of form and function.

Dont sweat the big stuff.

Size and agility. Open the rear tailgate and the Crosstour reveals its versatile nature. In its upright position, the rear cargo area has more than enough space for your golf gear and groceries. Pull the discreet release levers and the 60/40 split rear seats fold flat to accommodate longer items. In fact, you get 1,453 litres of cargo space with the seats down1. For even more handy storage, lift the floor panel. Thats where youll find a removable water-resistant under-floor storage box. Its perfect for keeping your stuff out of sight and then taking it with you when youre ready to go. To complete this picture of versatile utility, flip over the reversible floor panels. Theres luxury carpet on one side and wipe-clean, all-weather rubber on the other.

The Crosstour manages to be powerful, and still one of the most fuel-efficient vehicles in its class. You can get that power served up in two ways: a 2.4-litre, DOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine provides 192 horsepower2 on 2WD models, using a 5-speed automatic transmission with Grade Logic Control. Or step up to the 3.5-litre, SOHC i-VTEC V6 engine with 278 horsepower,2 using a 6-speed automatic transmission with Grade Logic Control and new steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, for an even more spirited drive, plus the reassurance of 4WD. The V6 also features electric variable power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering (EPS) for even better driving stability. All that power can still be efficient, thanks to the Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) system of the V6 engine. When you want raw power, the system engages all six cylinders for a truly invigorating drive. For more moderate highway or country road driving, the engine can operate with 3 cylinders in a wider range of situations to maximize fuel efficiency. Its the Crosstour at its versatile best: serious horsepower when you want it and greater fuel efficiency overall.

Go anywhere and do anything. All-weather, all-conditions handling is the goal of the Crosstours available Real Time 4WD system. It helps to give you traction in low-grip driving conditions, along with a faster, more intuitive initial response when a loss of traction is detected. For added control, the Crosstour is equipped with an independent double-wishbone front and multi-link rear suspension for a refined, smoother ride.

If luxury is in the details, the Crosstour has considered every last one of them. First, step into your sanctuary using the available smart entry with pushbutton start. Then, sink into the 10-way power-adjustable drivers seat with power lumbar support, also available in a heated and leather trimmed version. Other available upgrades include a heated 4-way power-adjustable passenger seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, plus woodgrain and metallic finish on the instrument panel and centre console. All of these features just bolster the Crosstours well-crafted, premium feel. For ample cabin storage, theres a handy centre console with storage compartment and roomy door pockets on each of the four doors. Ultimately, every carefully contoured inch of the cabin is designed to complement the vehicles performance and confident drive.

LaneWatch blind spot display

The Crosstour is a marvel of technology, loaded with innovative thinking. Some notable new features for 2013 include Lane Departure Warning3 (LDW) and Forward Collision Warning3 (FCW) systems. The Lane Departure Warning system uses an onboard camera to monitor vehicle lane position. If you inadvertently drift out of your lane without using a turn signal, the system is designed to alert you audibly and visually. Similarly, the Forward Collision Warning system uses an onboard camera to determine if the gap between you and the vehicle ahead is closing too quickly. If youre approaching with too much speed, the system uses audible and visual alerts so you can slow down. The new LaneWatch blind spot display3 uses a camera mounted on the passenger-side mirror that relays an enhanced view of the road to your in-dash display, enough to see two lanes of traffic in your passenger-side blind spot. The view improves in reverse too, with a standard rearview camera3 and available multi-angle rearview camera3, which has three different angles, including wide, normal and top-down, for added perspective and easier reversing.

At home on the road.

With the available 8" i-MID LED backlit display, you can receive text messages4 and emails4 and answer back with preset replies, keeping your hands on the wheel. It also provides important vehicle data like fuel efficiency and trip range, as well as audio and phone information. The HandsFreeLinkbilingual Bluetooth wireless mobile phone interface4 allows you to keep your hands on the wheel and your eyes on the road. An available Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System keeps you on the right path with 3D map display and FM Traffic feature, which offers continuously updated traffic information with zero subscription fees9. On the audio spectrum, theres a 360-watt AM/FM/CD/MP3/WMA Premium audio system with 7 speakers including subwoofer. In addition to SiriusXM radio7, MP3/auxiliary and USB input jacks, the cabin is equipped with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) to filter out undesirable engine and road noise. Models with HondaLink can also take advantage of available Bluetooth Streaming Audio4. All of these features should be more than enough to keep technophiles happy.

Additionally, the ACE frame design allows for collision compatibility between vehicles of different weights and sizes. Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) with Traction Control. VSA senses and corrects oversteer and understeer situations to enhance handling and cornering stability, while Traction Control helps to minimize wheel spin when accelerating on loose or slippery surfaces, helping to inspire greater driver confidence. Pedestrian Safety. Innovative pedestrian safety features include energy-absorbing hood and front fenders, and breakaway wiper pivots. Tire Pressure Monitoring System. For enhanced safety and fuel efficiency, TPMS continually checks the air pressure in each tire. If pressure drops in any one tire, the driver receives a dashboard alert. Controlled Braking. To assist with safe stopping, the 4-wheel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) is designed to help maintain control under hard braking conditions, while Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) helps to optimize braking power based on weight distribution inside the vehicle. Brake Assist further improves braking performance by applying full brake pressure when a panic stop is detected. Head Restraints. Active front seat head restraints are designed to lessen the potential for neck injuries during rear-end collisions by reducing the space between the occupants head and the seat head restraint. Six Standard Airbags. Six airbags line the Crosstour interior, including the passenger-side Occupant Position Detection System (OPDS) airbag, which is designed to not deploy if the system detects a smaller-sized or out-ofposition occupant. Child Safety. The Crosstour features childproof rear door locks, as well as three rear seat Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children (LATCH) for secure child-seat restraint.
