Day 5: Krakow
Morning guided tour of royal Krakow, beginning from Wawel
Hill, viewing the royal castle and visiting the royal cathe-
dral. Enjoy the walking tour of the old town, where you
will visit the main market square, renaissance hall and St.
Mary’s Church, where a masterpiece in wood – a gothic altar
– can be seen. Afternoon trip to Wieliczka salt mines, the
most impressive medieval factory, beautifully preserved.

Day 6: Krakow – Lublin


Departure to Lublin. After the orientation tour, dinner and

The tour of Lublin begins from Majdanek Martyrology Mu-

the Cistercian monastery at Vyssi Brod, situated in the foothills

Our journey continues to the town of Ptuj, and Rogaska

Day 6: Rogaska Slatina – Ljubljana


On this day, we take you to Ljubljana, Slovenian's capital
city. Our tour begins with a visit to the open market, the
City Hall, Three Bridges and the Parliament. Lunch at a local

Day 7: Ljubljana – Postojna – Piran


On the way to the coast we visit the Postojna Caves. A ride
by electric train will be followed by a guided walking tour.
Only 9km away from Postojna is one of the most interesting
baroque castles in Slovenia, Predjama Castle. It hangs dra-
matically in the middle of a high rocky cliff. After lunch at a
local restaurant, we invite you to visit the town of Piran, a

Day 8: Portoroz – Nova Gorica


After breakfast, departure for Lipica for a guided visit of the
stables of the Lipizzaner horses. After a typical local meal,
we take you to the picturesque village of Stanjel, with typi-
cal Karst architecture, which is followed by a tasting of the
local delicacy, air-cured prosciutto and the Teran famous
red wine at a typical Karst farm. Continue to Nova Gorica

Day 9: Nova Gorica – Kranjska Gora

Day 10: Kranjska Gora – Bled


We continue to Bled, a unique Alpine town, with its em-
erald-green lake, and a church on the island in the middle

Afterwards, we take you to Vintgar Gorge. Dinner with folk

Day 4: Florence – Padua – Venice


We visit fabulous Padua to see the famous Cathedral of St.
Anthony, protected by Donatello's 'Gattamelata', then go on
to world-famous Venice to enjoy a guided walking tour of
this unique city. You will see the stunning St. Mark’s Piazza
and Basilica, the Doge's Palace and the Bridge of Sighs,

Fontainebleau
Joan of Arc's pretty Orléans on the mighty Loire River has
much to see within its old walls. We also visit Anne of Beau-
jeu's Castle of Gien, the magnificent aqueduct at Briare and
Montargis, which calls itself the Venice of Gatinais because

Day 7: Fontainebleau – Paris


A morning visit to the world famous UNESCO-listed Fon-
tainebleau Palace, which every French king rightly cher-
ished and embellished with the stunning work of their best
artists, painters, sculptors, architects and gardeners. After

Day 8: Paris
Free time before your airport transfer can be used to visit
artistic Montmartre and the dramatic Church of Sacre Coeur.
