Morning visit to the Lidice Memorial and Museum. Continue
to Karlovy Vary, known for its springs that have been uti-
lized since the Middle Ages. Visit the Becher Factory and
Moser Glass Factory. Walking city tour of Karlovy Vary, or by

Day 3: Ceske Budejovice

After breakfast visit the baroque Tepla Monastery and its
park. Visit of Lomec Church with its unique hanging altar.
Arrival to Ceske Budejovice, known for its “Budvar” (Bud-
weizer) beer.You will see also the Samson fountain, an im-

Day 4: Holasovice – Cesky Krumlov

After a visit to Hluboka Castle, one of the most beautiful Bohe-
mian monuments we continue to Holasovice, an example of a
traditional Central European village, an UNESCO World Heritage.
Continue with sightseeing of Cesky Krumlov and its castle. Visit
the Cistercian monastery at Vyssi Brod, situated in the foothills
of the Bohemian Forest mountain range, in a romantic setting
amidst thick forests, on the right bank of the upper course of

Day 7: Moravsky Krumlov – Kutna Hora – Prague

Visit of Moravsky Krumlov Castle a town that dates back to
1227. Visit of Havlickuv Brod where around one hundred
monuments have been preserved in the town's centre. Visit
of Kutna Hora where the city tour included the entrance to
the St. Barbara Church and Royal Mint (Vlassky Court). Visit

Day 8: Prague
Half-day city tour of Prague by coach, followed by a visit
to Prague Castle, which is the seat of the President of the
Czech Republic. Visit St. Vithus’ Cathedral, a spiritual sym-
bol of the Czech state which contains underground tombs

In the morning, one of the tour's highlights, a visit to the

Drive to Maribor, home of the oldest vine in Europe (over
400 years old). Your journey through the city of Maribor will
be concluded with an exciting ride on a traditional wooden

Day 5: Maribor – Ptuj – Rogaska Slatina

Our journey continues to the town of Ptuj, and Rogaska
Slatina, a health resort with 400 years of history. Free time

Day 6: Rogaska Slatina – Ljubljana

On this day, we take you to Ljubljana, Slovenian's capital
city. Our tour begins with a visit to the open market, the
City Hall, Three Bridges and the Parliament. Lunch at a local

Day 7: Ljubljana – Postojna – Piran

On the way to the coast we visit the Postojna Caves. A ride
by electric train will be followed by a guided walking tour.
Only 9km away from Postojna is one of the most interesting
baroque castles in Slovenia, Predjama Castle. It hangs dra-
matically in the middle of a high rocky cliff. After lunch at a
local restaurant, we invite you to visit the town of Piran, a
coastal city with charming Venetian architecture. (B,D,O)
Day 8: Portoroz – Nova Gorica

After breakfast, departure for Lipica for a guided visit of the
stables of the Lipizzaner horses. After a typical local meal,
we take you to the picturesque village of Stanjel, with typi-
cal Karst architecture, which is followed by a tasting of the
local delicacy, air-cured prosciutto and the Teran famous
red wine at a typical Karst farm. Continue to Nova Gorica

Day 9: Nova Gorica – Kranjska Gora

After breakfast, a drive through the wonderful Soca Valley

to the town of Kobarid, to visit the stunning First World
War museum. After a meal in a local restaurant, our jour-
ney takes us over the mountain pass of Vrsic, where you
can enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views of the valley,
and then to the picturesque alpine resort of Kranjska gora.

Day 10: Kranjska Gora – Bled

We continue to Bled, a unique Alpine town, with its em-
erald-green lake, and a church on the island in the middle
of the lake. After a bus ride around the lake, there is a
guided tour of Bled Castle. Then you will be taken by typi-
cal 'pletna' boat to the island. Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afterwards, we take you to Vintgar Gorge. Dinner with folk

Day 11: Bled – Bohinj – Vogel – Bled

After breakfast, departure for Lake Bohinj and a cable-car
ride up Mt.Vogel. After a pleasant mountain snack, visit the
largest glacial lake in Slovenia, with a view of the highest

A morning visit to the world famous UNESCO-listed Fon-
tainebleau Palace, which every French king rightly cher-
ished and embellished with the stunning work of their best

Free time before your airport transfer can be used to visit
