SCOPE
Industrial Engineering emphasizes optimizing performance using advanced analytical methods to make better decisions. Optimization tools and techniques are used in many different industry segments from health care to logistics to financial services. Industrial Engineering helps to solve diverse business problems such as identifying best product placements in retail establishments to ensuring appropriate inventory levels in spare parts manufacturing. This International Conference provides a forum for presentations and discussion of the state of current applications and research in Industrial Engineering. It plays an important role in providing a platform for researchers for mutual exchange of knowledge towards improving the academic, scientific and research programs.

HOST
Anna University, Chennai is a leading technical University in India with about 600 affiliated Engineering Institutions. The University has a well-known technical institution in the city of Chennai namely, College of Engineering, Guindy (CEG), offering higher education in Engineering and Technology. The Department of Industrial Engineering (DoIE) of College of Engineering, Guindy is offering Under Graduate and Post Graduate Degree programmes in Industrial Engineering. The Department is also involved in active research in various areas of Industrial Engineering.

CALL FOR PAPERS

The prospective authors are invited to submit extended abstract of original unpublished work. The extended abstract should be in word format between 500 and 800 words. The extended abstracts are to be sent via e-mail only to icaiea2014@gmail.com. Full papers should be submitted only after the acceptance of extended abstracts. All papers will be blind reviewed by two reviewers.
