1.Carry out overall maintenance of the systems/applications used by the company i.e. Abacus, UT Net, STS, Sql and server management, active directory, Biometrics, Aren payroll, Linux operations and any other system the company acquires in future. 2.Work closely with the management team and Supervise the users of the Micro Uganda limited systems as the head of department. 3. Assist and resolves existing MIS

problems. Work hand in hand with the senior management team and the Institutional management team to define attainable goals, priorities, time lines, and ICTs involvement in the realization of company goals, necessary resources, and projected costs. 4. Oversee all technical aspects of the organization's website, upgrade and maintenance of servers, hardware, software, telecommunication connections, email, and security systems. 5.Investigating system errors, perform backups, and ensure user accessibility and site performance. 6.Perform hardware and software maintenance duties. 7.Troubleshoot and correct hardware/ software computer and network problems. 8.Assist with the maintenance and operation of all the branches of Micro Uganda Limited and the head office; those are Kisozi, Ovino, Nateete, and Kireka, Kawempe, and Kayunga branch. 9.Run daily tasks, backups and EOD and ensure that they are completed successfully 10.Maintains inventory of equipment and parts as well as documentation of vendor activities 11.Develop and document system standards for computer and network devices. 12.Recommend and schedule repairs to the LAN/WAN 13.Ensure the integrity and confidentiality of all data by proactively offering advice on security and general computer usage by the staff. 14.Support new staff on the set up of their computers and train them on the overall systems used in the organisation. 15.Configure user groups and shared areas on server 16.Assist in new system facilitation, current system enhancements and upgrades within the system. 17.Restore and recover corrupted databases in the system. 18.Install and test upgrades and patches within the system. 19.Prepare daily, weekly and monthly performance reports which are to be reviewed by the Managing
