Wednesday Nights Join us for a great time of fellowship at our Wednesday evening meals (5:00 6:00pm). Catered by Lizards Thicket, the cost is $6.00 for Adults and $3.00 for children (under 10). The menu (10/30): roast turkey or roast pork (choice of 1 item), green beans, rice and gravy, corn bread, rolls and tea. Please RSVP for the meal by noon on Tuesdays by calling 520-5660 or emailing postmaster@northsidebaptist.org with your name and number attending. After the meal, from 6:00 8:00 pm, a variety of classes will be available for adults through our University of Christian Training (UCT). Adult choir practice, all preschool, children, and student activities will run 6:00 8:00 pm. RUNNING TOGETHER: One Day Class Join Pastor Rocky on Saturday, November 16, from 8:30 a.m. 12:00 p.m., in the Student Center Lexington Campus, as he teaches Running Together, Northsides Membership Class. If youre new to Northside or if youre a member who hasnt previously attended, this class is for you! Childcare (ages 11 and under) will be provided by reservation only. We are asking attendees to please register in advance. Registration forms handed out with the bulletin today (complete and drop off at the Information Desk) or you can register online at www.northsidebaptist.org. Deadline to enroll is Sunday, November 10. Summer Camp Northside Kids are going to Summer Camp! In Summer 2014, rising 3rd-6th graders can join us at Camp Kid Jam in Greenwood, SC from June 17-20, 2014. Camp Kid Jam is a hands-on, highenergy, Christ-centered experience you wont want your child to miss! It seems early, but we need to start planning and fundraising now! We are holding a parent interest meeting on Sunday, Oct. 27th at 5:00pm in Room 132. Christmas Poinsettia Purchase a Christmas Poinsettia in honor or in memory of those you love! Cost: $12.00 per plant. Order forms will be passed out with the bulletins Sunday. Please use a separate form for each plant. One check may be written for multiple plants. Place order forms in the offering plate or turn them in at the information desk. Order deadline is December 5.

Operation Christmas Child Updated final shoebox count Lexington & West Campus - 638! We have two dates available to go to the Charlotte processing center to get these boxes ready to distribute to children overseas. Class is 6 hours there will not be time to go off campus for lunch. International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church Sunday, November 10, is the day we are remembering thousands of our Christian brothers and sisters around the world who suffer persecution, simply because they confess Jesus Christ as Lord. Believers in countries such as Egypt, Eritrea, India, Iran, Nigeria, Pakistan and Vietnam face violence, imprisonment and even death because of their faith in Jesus Christ. There are other places in the world such as North Korea where acts of persecution take place, but we dont see or hear of it. Prayer cards will be available at booths in the foyer. Prisoner profiles with information on how to send letters to imprisoned Christians as well as information on how to write your Senators/Congressman. A list of websites with more information about the Persecuted church will also be available. High Attendance Sunday Nov 3 Guest speaker, Dr. Kevin Leman Dr. Leman will be speaking in both services. He is also the guest speaker for the WMHK Family Conference taking place at Northside Sunday evening, Nov 4 and Monday morning and evening, Nov 5. Tickets for the Family Conference are available at the Information Desk for anyone who would like to attend. We have candy bar wrappers! These wrappers invite our community to join us for WMHK 89.7 Family Conference kick-off on Sunday morning, November. 3. Please take some, wrap them around candy bars and give them out to trick-or-treaters, neighbors and friends this week. Wrappers are available at the Welcome Desk and in Life Groups. Thanksgiving Baskets For Needy Families In Our Community We need many volunteers to pack and/or deliver the baskets. The packing will be SAT, NOV. 23, 9:00 11:00 AM at the Hispanic Church, 1303 Sunset Blvd, West Columbia (old campus). The delivery pickup will be SUN, NOV. 24, 2-4:00 PM at the Hispanic Church. Sign-up sheets for volunteering as well as an envelope for CONTRIBUTIONS will be in LIFE Group boxes Sunday, Nov 3.
