Format final output compatibility should be in the format that you saved your image in i.e. for vector - EPS is a good format to save it in Lately print companies like for files to be in PDF format - why? because a PDF can be cross-platform compatible Consult the Professionals (pg 229) if you are going to get art printed professionally, you should: - find a reliable print specialist - understand the printing process (can save time and money) - clear idea of the paper you want - consult with the printers to find out how they want your file prepared Setting up the Print Job not as simple as file/print - need to know where you are going to print your work - need to understand output compatibility - need to contact the printer to find out exactly what is best for that company
