Thank you for your interest in the 3rd ARC Young Leaders Camp, a unique and impactful program developed by Asiawide Refreshments Corporation (ARC), the Philippine licensed bottler of RC Cola beverages. Launched in 2011, the ARC Young Leaders Camp is part of ARCs commitment to develop and empower the youth of today. Please read the information in this packet carefully and familiarize yourself with the programs objectives, eligibility, and nomination and selection process. The ARC Young Leaders Camp is looking for underserved yet exceptional Filipino student leaders who are actively involved in school and community organizations; have a good academic record, and have a passion to lead, create and change the society. Academe Adviser Assessment

Each applicant is required one (1) Academe/ Adviser assessor. Your evaluator will fill out the assessment form, sign it and placed it in a white envelope with the name of the applicant indicated in the front of the envelope. The envelope should be sealed, signed across the flap, and returned to you. The sealed envelope must be attached to the filled out student application form.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION TO OFFICE OF STUDENT AFFAIRS IS 15 OCTOBER 2013.

About ARC Young Leaders Camp Created in 2011 by Asiawide Refreshments Corporation (ARC), the licensed Philippine bottler and manufacturer of RC Cola products, the ARC Young Leaders Camp aims to be a breeding ground for future Filipino leaders. The camp is an annual summit for 40 of the most outstanding student leaders selected from colleges and universities around Metro Manila. The three-day camp involves talks and panel discussions, team building activities and group workshops. Wellknown and distinguished leaders from government, civil society, media, industry and the arts share their leadership stories and inspire participants perspectives to promote growth and development. Camp Mission The camps mission is to train and prepare future leaders and instill in them work and leadership values. Camp Vision The camps vision is to have an inspired and empowered Filipino youth who will define new limits, accomplish new goals and build a strong but sincere foundation.

About Asiawide Refreshments Corporation Started in 2002, ARC is the exclusive Philippine licensee of RC Cola products. The ARC Young Leaders Camp, for instance, is ARCs way of helping mold the leadership potentials and skills of Filipino youth leaders.

Program Eligibility To apply for the ARC Young Leaders Camp, the applicant must meet the following qualifications: Filipino citizen Not older that 19 years old at the time of the camp First time applicant to the ARC Young Leaders Camp Bona fide freshman or sophomore student in a university, taking up any 4 or 5 year course* Within the top 25% of his/her graduating high school class Within the top 25% of his/her college or department Has not been subjected to any disciplinary case in or outside the campus Has not been charged and/or convicted in a civil or criminal case An active leader or officer in campus and/or community organization (student government, SK, parish youth club, etc.) Possesses excellent communication skills Passion to learn and serve others

*Student leaders who are under financial aid and scholarship will be given priority.

Program Application Process The applicant must submit all forms included in the Student Application Packet and submit to designated school officer or coordinator. The ARCYLC Secretariat will only accept applications with complete forms and students that are endorsed by the school. The ARCYLC will select the top 100 nominees to go to a screening process. These nominees will undergo a panel interview with ARC executives at the ARCYLC Secretariat office in Ortigas Center, Pasig City. From the panels will select the top 40 student leaders who will participate in the 3rd ARC Young Leaders Camp.
