1. Start Chart Assistant for Advanced users.

2. Change format to SENC.

3. Change to Catalogue.

4. Click the + tool to enable the adding function.

5. All charts that will be marked are the charts that you would like to order updates for. Left click in the map, and then by moving the trackball you will make the area larger/smaller. Please note that all charts that are connected to or in the area will be marked.

6. Once you are happy with the area then click the left button again and the charts will be marked red (those boundaries are highlighted by red lines).

8. Click Optimize request. (Please note that if you want to order updates for all installed charts you can check the All installed charts checkbox in that case you dont have to mark any chart manually)

9. Click ok in the dialog box that appears.

10. Click send request.

11. Insert the usb stick and then click finish.

12. Bring the usb stick to the internet/communication computer on the bridge and send the .cdf file as an attachment to the chartservice@transas.com 13. A new file / new files will be sent to you from our chartserver. Save this file on the usb stick (same place as you use to save received files from TRANSAS) 14. Insert the USB stick into the ECDIS and Chart Assistant will automatically recognize the new updates and ask if you want to install them.

15. Once they are installed the data received you can take out a report to find out what has been done.

16. Synchronize with other stations. 17. Shut down Chart Assistant and wait for approximately 30 sec. 18. Run Navi-Sailor.
