What We Believe: The Hebraic faith takes several forms and as a journey, begins in different pla ces for

those choosing to follow the narrow road . I'd like to define what Hebraic beliefs are: 1. Elohim is Echad (one), for in scripture Moshe states Hear o Isr ael, YaHuWaH is one Elohim 2. The Patriarchs are the forefathers of all we believ e 3. The Torah (first 5 books of scripture) are the basis (foundation) for all o ther scripture, and the commandments given in the Torah are the basis for a life pleasing to YaHuWaH 4. YaHuWaHsha is the Messiah and creator of everything, 5. YaHuWaHsha and the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Breath) are part of the one Elohim.YaHuW aHsha is the physical incarnation of YaHuWaH in a human body, and is called HaDa var The Word of Elohim. 6. The Ruach HaKodesh is the Holy Breath of Elohim. 7. T he promises to Israel still are in effect, and will be fulfilled 8. That former gentile believers are grafted into the Common Wealth of Israel. 9. That YaHuWaHs ha did not do away with the observance of Torah. The role of the Torah is clearly the what differentiates Hebraic/Christians from most Churches. Whereas belief in YaHuWaHsha as Messiah is clearly what differen tiates us from most Synagogues. So I believe that Faith in YaHuWaHsha is what gi ves us right standing and forgiveness in the FATHERS sight(which is Justificatio n-Justified by the blood sacrifice of YaHushaWaH).But also believe that we are to walk in the YaHuWaHs commandments to for Santifiction(santification is repent ing and following the YaHuWaHs spirit in his Commandments)The commandments are t o seperate HIS children from the children of the world. And then theres Glorifica tion(which is our rewards for obedience in faith of YaHuWaHsha and obeying the C ommandments-[ REVELATION 14:12:Here is the endurance of the set-apart ones ,x here are those guarding the commands of Elohim and the belief of YaHuWa Hsha]) I celebrate the sabbath(worship and rest on saturday)I celebrate YaHuWaHS Feast(their not jewish feasts,They are YAHUWAHS FEASTS they were given to the H ebrew Israelites to seperate them from other nations and the nations pagan gods, and to show other nations who was the true Elohim){ Deut. 4:5-8,5 See, I have ta ught you statutes and judgments just as the YaHuWaH my Elohim commanded me, that you should do thus in the land where you are entering to possess it. 6 So keep and do them, for that is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes and say, Surely this great nation is a w ise and understanding people. 7 For what great nation is there that has a Elohim so near to it as is the YaHuWaH our Elohim whenever we call on Him? 8 Or what gr eat nation is there that has statutes and judgments as righteous as this whole l aw which I am setting before you today?.The YaHuWaHS Feasts is also THE GOSPEL(w hich christians should study and see for themselves the purpose of the feasts)Ya HuWaHs Feasts show us what YaHuWaHsha did for us and why HE had to do it that wa y,thats why christians need hebraic understanding of the heritage of their Maste r and Saviour. *1 MELAKIM 2:3{1 KINGS 2:3}Keep the charge of YaHuWaHs Feast thy Elohim, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself: Statement of Faith: That we might have unity among us, and that we all speak the same thing as rega rds the foundation of our faith, and that with integrity we present our witness of YaHushaWaH the Messiah as those who walk in His light, 1. All Scripture is g iven by the Breath/Spirit of Elohim, and is to be used for doctrine, for reproof , for correction and for instruction in righteousness. 2 Timothy 3:16. 2. Hear, O Israel: YaHuWaH is our Elohim. He is One YaHuWaH. He alone is YaHuWaH. Deutero nomy 6:4. 3. The nature of YaHuWaH is a compound unity expressed in the aspects of Abba [the Father], YaHuWaHsha [Salvation, the Son, Messiah] and Ruach HaKodes h [the Holy Spirit/Breath] in this age. Matthew 28:19. 4. YaHuWaH and His Word a re eternal, that is: He, His Word and His Will has always, and will always, be t

he same. Malachi 3:6, Hebrews 13:8, Matthew 5:18; 24:35. 5. The Shabbat [Sabbath ], the seventh day of the week, is the created holy day of YaHuWaH, which He ga ve to mankind and covenanted with His people as a sign forever. Exodus 31:16, Ge nesis 2:2-3, Isaiah 58:13-14, Matthew 12:8. 6. YaHuWaHsha of Natzeret is the Mes siah of Israel, the Savior of the world, the King of kings and Sovereign of Sove reigns. He is YaHuWaH who appeared among mankind in the flesh, and now is glorif ied with all power in Heaven and in Earth, at the right hand of Abba. John 1:1214. 7. Messiah YaHuWaHsha is the ultimate and final Passover Lamb required for t he removal of sins. He died by execution stake (stagion) on a tree (xulon) and r ose from the dead three days afterward. Everyone who repents of their sins, and trusts that YaHuWaHsha is the Messiah, who died as our Passover Lamb and rose ag ain, they are forgiven their sins and come into a renewed covenant with YaHuWaH through Him, and therefore become inheritors of all the promises YaHuWaH made wi th Abraham and Israel. Isaiah 53, Romans 10:9-11, 1 Corinthians 5:7. 8. The Brit Chadashah [Renewed Covenant] in Messiah YaHuWaHsha brings with it a new creatio n of the human spirit. The Torah [Law/Teaching] of YaHuWaH is planted inside so that Ruach HaKodesh may indwell there. An external immersion in water (mikveh) is performed to declare that this has taken place. Jeremiah 31:31-34, Ezekiel 39 :29. 9. The various enablements (gifts) of Ruach HaKodesh are given with authori ty to all those who ask YaHuWaH and obey His commandments. The Promise of Abba, an extra enduement of power and boldness for witnessing, is an immersion (spirit ual mikveh) by Ruach HaKodesh, as initially was evidenced with speaking in other languages. Each follower should seek to be filled with the various enablements of the Ruach, who gives them as He wishes. Isaiah 28:11-12, Luke 11:13, Acts 1:4 -5; 2:4; 5: 32, 1 Cor 12: 1-13, Eph 1:13. 10. The people of YaHuWaH are a holy M iqra [Called Out/Ekklesia] congregation, which is not of the world, in order to gather and celebrate Him at His appointed holy Feasts, and to shine as lights of truth in the darkness, and to be a royal priesthood which praises His Name. Exo dus 19:6, Leviticus 23, Matthew 16:18, 1 Peter 2:9. 11. The goals of the people of YaHuWaH are: a.) to be followers of YaHuWaHsha the Messiah, until we mature into the example He left us. Ephesians 4:13. b.) to be holy (separate from the world) as our Abba is holy. Therefore, we are to learn and act on those things w hich makes us holy in His sight. Leviticus 11:44-45, Ephesians 5:27. c.) to be r ighteous (right decision making) and godly (forgiving) in this world. Titus 2:12 . d.) to be clean, first in our conscious inner man, and then also in our outwar d walk accordingly as we grow in the Ruach [Spirit] and understanding of the Wor d. Psalm 51:10, 1 Thessalonians 4:7. e.) to be full of love for one another, thu s proving we are YaHuWaHsha's disciples; and caring for a lost world, to bring t he message of the Good News of YaHuWaHsha to the Jew first and also to the Gent iles. John 13:34-35, Romans 1:16. 12. The promise of a continually faithful trus t in YaHuWaHsha, while walking according to the will(Torah) of Elohim, is resurr ection from the dead, eternal life and ruling with YaHuWaHsha forever in the pla ce where His Kingdom will rule. He will yet rule in Jerusalem/Zion, and finally in New Jerusalem in the New Creation forever. Revelation 19-22. 13. YaHushaWaH w ill judge all mankind of all acts and words ever committed. He will decide the s entence for punishment, and all those not meeting His standard will be sent away from His presence, into outer darkness and eternal punishment of the sin. Matth ew 25:31-46, Revelation 20. 14. The final plan for the Israel of Elohim is to br ing the remnant of the faithful Jewish people, and the remnant of those believer s who were formerly Gentiles, but recovered from the world by faith, back togeth er and united into one holy people under one Shepherd, namely YaHuWaHsha, the Me ssiah, thus completing the tearing down of the wall of partition. This is a nece ssary part of the restoration of all things spoken by the prophets. Hosea 1-2, J ohn 17, Romans 9:26, Ephesians 2, Acts 3:21. *DEBARIM 30:19-20{DEUTERONOMY 30:19-20} 19}I call heaven and earth to record thi s day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursi ng: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:20}That thou may est love YaHuWaH thy Elohim, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days.

*THE FOUNDATION OF SCRIPTURE Have you ever considered that the Bible that YaHuWaHsha(Jesus), the early discip les, the Gospel writers,Paul, and even John the Revelator studied and taught fro m was the Old Testament? Let that sink in for a moment. There was no NT when any writer of the Bible was alive. The only Bible that existed for these men . . . and for Messiah(Christ) ... was the Hebrew Tanakh, our OT. Any and all reference s to Holy Scripture by YaHuWaHsha(Jesus) or the apostles refer to the OT. The admo nition that all Scripture is inspired by Elohim(God) and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16NASB) s pecifically referred to the Hebrew Bible because there was no such thing as a Ne w Testament in that era. In fact, in its most correct application and it would hel p us when reading the New Testament if we could grasp this the word Scripture or H oly Scripture, biblically speaking, refers only to what we call the Old Testamen t. While we should certainly accept the NT as holy, inspired of Elohim(God), and entirely belonging in our Bibles, that statement from Paul to Timothy did not r efer to something that did not exist. It was not meant to be prophetic;Paul was n ot speaking to a future time.He was speaking about the Torah, the Writings, and t he Prophets. We would gain far more understanding of the Bible if we could dispe nse with the term Old Testament and call it what Yahusha(Jesus) and all the apostles called it: the Sc riptures. So our modern Bibles consist of two portions, both inspired and of Eloh im : the Scriptures and the ReNewed Testament. While it has been the mode of the church for centuries to imply, if not outrigh t state, that the OT is of no value to a modern believer and that the OT princip les no longer apply since the advent of Messiah(Christ), it would benefit us to remember that it was the OT that the original group of twelve disciples of Messi ah(Christ) taught from. It was what YaHuWaHsha(Jesus) Himself taught and quoted and venerated so highly. It was what the apostles taught the gospel message from , and that is because the gospel message is an OT message. That s right; the compl ete gospel is spoken of in the OT.YaHuWaHsha(Jesus) didn t write a new gospel; He simply fulfilled that which was previously written . . .by the writers of the OT . Listen to what YaHuWaHsha(Jesus) says in John 5:46 47: For if you believed Moses, you would believe Me, for he wrote about Me. But if you do not believe his writi ngs, how will you believe My words? (NASB). Saying if you believed Moses was just a common way of speaking in that day. It was an idiom; it meant if you believe the Torah. Moses, the Law, and the Torah were all interchangeable terms to the Hebra ic people. But the point is that YaHuWaHsha (Jesus) says, He [Moses] wrote about Me. Messiah(Christ) was explaining that if we don t believe or even know what Moses wrote and it was Moses who wrote the Torah how are we to comprehend what YaHuWaHsha (Jesus) was saying? * How to Read and Study the Torah The Torah, like all of the Bible, is literal. It means what it says and it says what it means. But let me explain what literal means when dealing with the Bible. We occasionally use idioms or puns in our everyday conversations , sayings that only those in our common culture can understand. Take, for example, the expression Go fly a kite. When someone instructs you to do something you disagree with, and you respond, Go fly a kite, most Americans know wh at that means. In its most basic sense, you re saying no.Further, it can mean that you have no interest at all in what they re proposing and perhaps even question t heir sanity. But if you tell a Frenchman or a Brazilian to go fly a kite, they wil l be rather perplexed with your answer. It makes no sense to them. What does kit e-flying have to do with anything they just asked you about? It s the same way wit h many biblical Hebrew words and phrases. They carried a perfectly clear meaning at one time, but to our twenty-first-century ears, sometimes it doesn t compute.S

o literal does not necessarily mean word for- word. If we took Go fly a kite wordfor -word, we d be in trouble. Literal, therefore, means the literal meaning intended wit hin the context of the culture it was created. And in the case of the Bible, the culture was Hebrew, and that culture changed and evolved dramatically over the fifteen hundred years during which the Bible was written. That is to say,the Heb rew culture at the time of Abraham bore no resemblance to Hebrew culture in the time of Moses, and that bore no resemblance to Hebrew culture in the time of Mes siah(Christ). Most often, the literal meaning in the Bible is word for-word. The trick is that one must understand the Hebrew culture in the various eras of the Bible to understand what is being communicated. And, of course, there is a cert ain amount of symbolism in the Bible. And there is poetry and there is straightf orward history, and there are parables and several other literary devices as wel l. But symbolism is generally pretty easy to identify. Here s what I m getting at: m odern Gentile Christianity tends to treat much of the really-hard-to-understand parts of the OT as allegorical statements, when in fact they are not allegory. T here is allegory in the OT, but very little, and I ll identify it when we come acr oss it. Generally speaking, the problem has been a total misunderstanding of what was being said, due to a reluctance to research and study ancient Hebrew cultur e.Rather, there s been a not-so-subtle attempt over the centuries to twist and tur n the Bible into something that agrees with preconceived denominational doctrine s. We re not going to do that here. One other thing about the meaning of the term literal: many phrases in the Bible are both literal and symbolic. That is, they mean exactly what they say, and on another level they are also symbolic of some larger concept. You ll find this rat her inscrutable duality occurring with biblical prophecy because many prophecies h appen, and then they happen again! Now, get ready for one of the most intense an d exciting rides of your life. A man who has been studying Torah Class lessons r egularly for a long time, a man who is a longtime Christian and former missionar y, told me recently that he has learned more about who Elohim is in the last few months than at any time in his life. What you get from this is up to you. I hop e you commit your coming journey into YaHuWaH s Torah to much prayer and personal dedication. I believe you ll find it to be not only educational but life-changing *Both the Old and New Testaments are held as holy books, but the Old testament t akes precedent over the New. The Torah serves as the foundation to all subsequen t understanding and interpretation of Scripture. *Salvation derives from the belief in YaHuWaHsha the Messiah as Personal Savior, not from commandment/Torah keeping; however, believers are rewarded according t o their fruits, works, and obedience of Torah.
