Keeping Up with the Joneses

Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16 Dear Family & Friends, The above verse has great encouragement for all of us. In our times of need, we can go before the throne of grace with confidence, not doubtfully or reluctantly. The throne of grace is the very presence of our loving and all powerful heavenly Father who understands our weaknesses, yet is ready to pour out His mercy and grace to help us. As we pray, lets do so with this confidence. The new/used copier is now set up in the office and in operation! It is like the other one and even less used. We paid half of the total amount when it was delivered and must pay the other half by Nov. 8. We still need funds to complete the purchase and are so grateful to each of you who by Gods grace, have prayed and/or given to meet this need. The timing is perfect, as we are scheduled to print the Oct-Dec. FOCUS this month. This saves us about $300 each quarter by not having to outsource the printing. This month we are busy in the office, speaking in Missions Conferences, preaching, and making contacts for the ministry. The general fund is still too low to schedule any of the several, much needed trips to help our international partners (average trip costs approx. $2,000). Please pray that more support and gifts will be raised for the general fund. Also, please continue to pray for the sale of the Florida property. Every month there are utility and maintenance expenses on that property, plus over $10,000 in annual taxes every year, which is due in a couple of months. We know He has grace for this need, too. We are constantly blessed by you all in so many ways. Your thoughtful- ness, gifts, and creative expressions surprise us and encourage us. We pray for you regularly that the Lord will doubly bless you. Thanks again for all you do for Drive In and us. In His service together, Mike, AnnaMae & family

Family
AnnaMae & Sarah celebrate birthdays on the 2nd and 4th. One mistake in the last letter, Rebekah turned 29 not 28, photo below. Stephen is working at Chick fil A again and has started online classes with Moody Bible Institute. One of our supporting churches recently blessed AnnaMae and me with a two night get-a-way to SanDestin, Florida, for a time of refreshment and gaining of strength in order to be able to better serve the Lord! We will plan to go later this week after we get this letter in the mail. When we return we will get busy working on the FOCUS mailing. Mid month, AnnaMae will travel to Wisconsin to spend some time with her mom and family.
