Hello everyone!!

As the leaves are falling and winter is creeping up on us, I wanted to give you some student snapshots, and evidence of HIS Spirit that is alive and movingeverywhere. I hope you are encouraged, and hope you are reminded of how much you are so loved by HIM the one who maintains HIS attention (HIS loving eye Psalm 32:8) on you for your entire life. SNAPSHOTS of the new year among this tribe A young man who has been a part of this ministry the past 4 years is about to graduate, and finds himself serving as a youth and music minister with a local church. This past month, he shared that he now feels called to Seminary. He has had a chance to visit Midwestern Seminary in KC. The BSU water fountain is still working! (Im sure some of you remember what happens when you drink from the BSU fountain!) We have several students that are engaged, or recently married, or in a serious relationship, and are just trying to make HIM the center of their relationship. Several small groups have been started this fall. Please pray for the students as they get to share with each other and help each other in knowing HIS love, and how to better serve and love others for HIM. Weve had a couple of fun events this fall to give us a chance to invite friends and encourage each other (and a little bit of stress relief, too). The girls had a Chocolate Party, and the students also had a fun night of making and designing their own BSU t-shirts. Over the summer, we had a young woman accept Christ while she was with us on a Wal-Mart run. We just got to celebrate with her and her new church family (Hamilton Street Baptist Church) as she was baptized into Jesus. Thank you to Pastor Charles and your church family for once again letting us celebrate that something miraculous happened in her heartand it was Jesus! We have a young man that we got to know thru another friend (and thru moving furniture), and weve been getting to invest in his life. (2 Thess. 2:8) He has been engaging with us in conversations about HIS love. We have gotten to share the gospel with him two weeks in a row, and we get to read the Bible with him regularly. Please be praying for this young man and his heart to come alive in HIM. We have a young lady who sees her classmates in her Major as her mission field. Please pray for her to be refueled and encouraged as she tries to make disciples among those she is already around. A gentleman who continues to engage in disciple making relationships with students by being informal but intentional (moving furniture, grocery store runs, driving lessons), recently had the opportunity to share what Jesus means to him because of a class assignment. Wow God, how marvelous and mysterious and amazing you work! Last fall, I had the privilege of getting to read the Bible with a student. We continue to meet regularly to read. Please pray for God to move in her heart. She is so joyful when she reads and eager to hear more, so we are hoping for her heart to come alive with HIM for HIM to move and do what no one else can do. And how amazing HE is! She has not asked HIM to be her Lord and Savior yet, but she did ask another student to start reading with us, and now we have 2-3 others who join us sometimes. Weve watched over the last year as a young lady who has been walking and abiding with HIM every day as her heart is exploding for HIM. She has decided to stop college for a semester to be a missionary. She has applied and has been accepted to be a missionary in another country. Please pray for her safety, and for God to move in the hearts of those she will meet! We get to sit back and watch as a young lady is just loving another student. She is getting involved in her life, helps with grocery store runs, and has been inviting her to church. She recently shared with us about an exciting conversation they had together she got to share what grace means. Pray for her as she is trying to make disciples, and for the other student to realize HIS love for her.

We have two young BSU alumni who are missionaries in India. They were able to come and share at our weekly student worship service how much HE so loves this whole world and how HE is movingeverywhere! Aaahhh.relaxWe just got back from our annual hayride and bonfire at the Perkins family farm. This is nothing short of awesome for all those students who dont get the chance to break away from the college grind and see HIS works and experience the love of a family who just gives of their hearts for students in so many ways. It is always filled with friends who are unclear of where they are in the process of their faith, so it is very much an inward mission trip as we go together to be loved on by a local family for HIM.

And, now its time for a few pictures! My hope is that these pictures help all of you to continue to feel connected to these incredibly wonderful and so loved students whose desire is to help others know HIM and to make HIM known. To make disciples. What a wonderful place to end for now.with the thought of making disciples. That is what we are here to do in this tribe, this little missionary outpost to 6,000+ students here at Truman to go and make disciples The BSU does not exist for itself we exist for a mission. And that is nothing less of the entire planet to know HIM in a real, intimate, powerful, life-changing way. To be in a daily love-affair with HIM. To just be with HIM
