*** In G.O.Ms.No.793 Home (Transport-V) Department dated 21.08.2001, the Government have authorized the Commissioner of Police, Greater Chennai to exercise the powers vested under section 115 of the Motor Vehicle Act 1988 (Central Act 59 of 1988) , in respect of area/road coming within his jurisdiction 2. Further in response to our earlier proposal, the Government in the reverence 2nd cited, hfwe requested to take necessary action with reference to under. section 115 of the Motor Vehicle Act 1988 (Central Act 59 of ~,(1988). 3. In this connection, it is proposed to restrict the entry of heavy vehicles between 07.00 to 22.00 hrs in order to avoid Traffic snarl 1 congestion on roads come under the C-5 Kothwalchavadi Police Station limits as details below.
