that influence intelligence, including the interaction of genetic and environmental factors Introduction: Recap YouTube Clip - Part 2 Battle of the Brains (9 minutes) Ask students to think of as many ways as they can that a sock can be used. Have a discussion about how having a high IQ doesnt necessarily mean that you can be successful at all tasks put forward. Note that even the person who obtained a higher IQ stated that his prior knowledge assisted him in completing the IQ tests. Investigate how this debate is relevant to the study of intelligence. Assessment:

Monitoring student responses and ensuring they do not have any misconceptions about the content. Walking around the room during completion of activities to ensure that students questions are answered
