Your report is to be in the region of 3000 words, plus references and appendices. All students have to choose a different organisation unless otherwise agreed. This will be done on a first come first served basis via the relevant discussion board on -stream. Assignments will be submitted electronically to X-Stream. All assignments will be submitted to TURNITIN. FEEDBACK A provisional mark and generic feedback will be provided within four weeks of submission. Individual feedback will also be released via Turnitin with the provisional grade. Assignments can be downloaded from Turnitin with the individual feedback attached. You will find instructions on how to do this contained within the Turnitin drop box.

To understand, critically analyse, evaluate and explain: The operational requirements of different international business strategies. The costs and benefits of particular international entry and development routes (i.e. Merger, acquisition, Greenfield site development etc.). The impact of cultural differences on development and strategy adopted by International minded organisations. The core competencies required to manage a diverse international organisation. The elements required to provide an environment which promotes innovative Practice, analytical insights, critical evaluation and judgement, systematic learning, Positive initiatives, adaptability and open mindedness.
Rationale of assessment
The International Strategic Management Project allows students to synthesise data, evaluate it and apply it in a manner whereby the longer term development issues for an enterprise are practically and logically applied so that the business is able to successfully compete in the global arena. The report will also allow the identification and application of appropriate tools and techniques to cope with different sectional, cultural and global issues within the global arena. The poster will enable students to take a more holistic view of international strategic management and bring together a variety of factors that impact upon global competitive advantage. The Poster Presentation will also enable students to communicate their findings to other course participants and tutors.
