Hey everyone, its ayswn, again. You may have already read Dawn of Dreams, the fan-made story I made as a
sequel to Breaking Dawn of the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer. Thanks again to Stephenie Meyer for everything
– inspiring dreams to create stories, being a role model...
Points of view will again change back and forth.

Chapter 1
Edward’s Point Of View
“Uh, about that. See, Nessie is half human so she has blood and has a beating heart. When she and Jacob were
coming here, they were in a car crash.” Charlie stiffened. “Jacob came out fine but Nessie received several injuries.
Some human blood drinking newborn vampires caught her scent. They were thirsty so they began to follow Jacob
and Nessie here. We are trying to get them to drink animal blood. Otherwise, one group will have to die.” I
explained.
“I see.” Charlie muttered. “Is there anything I can do to help?”
“What?” I asked.
“I said.” Charlie said annoyed. “Is there anything I can do to help?”
“You know Bella would hate to risk your life in any way.” I replied.
“I want to help.” Charlie insisted. Of course, he was bound to have some traits Bella did.
“Uh... Bella!” I called. Bella appeared at my side. “Charlie wants to help.” I whispered in her ear.
“I don’t know how...” Bella murmured.
“He could... no, that wouldn’t work. Well, he could just guard Renesmee, I suppose.” I suggested. “Being Chief of
Police and all.”
“I have no idea what you are talking about and I would like to know, thank you very much.” Charlie interrupted.
“You could just guard Renesmee.” I said a little louder.
“Well...” Charlie began but then his cell phone rang. “Hello?” he asked, flicking the phone cover open.
Is this Charlie Swan, Chief of the Police of Forks, Washington?
“Yes.”
Charlie, you are needed A.S.A.P. The numbers in the disappearing people have increased dramatically and you are
requested in the Seattle area. People are also disappearing around the La Push reservations.
“Jacob knows.” I murmured softly to Bella, due to her freezing beside me.
“La Push? Seattle? Me?” I listened to Charlie’s jumbled thoughts. What? Why me...? I’m Chief of Police, sure, but
who would run the station? In Seattle and La Push? What about Billy, Sue...? The werewolf pack..... In Seattle...
I chuckled under my breath. Bella looked at me curiously. “Charlie’s thoughts.” I whispered.
Yes. People are disappearing in those areas. Being Chief of Police of Forks, you are requested. All Chiefs of Police
are being called with their best officers to try to solve the problem in Seattle and La Push. Have a good day, Mr.
Swan. The person on the other end hung up.
“Well...” Charlie started but Bella held up a hand.
“We heard.” Bella interrupted. Before Charlie opened his mouth, she spoke again. “Our hearing isn’t something we
can control.”
“Oh.” Charlie said like an idiot. “I see. Well, see you later, Bells, Edward.” Charlie gestured and got into his cruiser
to drive back to Forks.
He switched on the light and sped through the streets.
“Hello.” A voice sounded behind us. “We were informed that you truly did tell a human our secret. I see that is
true.”
We whirled around to see Chelsea. Alone.
“Chelsea.” I growled.
“I’m not alone.” She smiled, gesturing to the trees around us. They caught us at the wrong time. Crap. I listened to
several thoughts.
Just wait for the signal... Ugh! Felix is making too much noise. Alec is over there, I wonder if he’s okay. That
confirmed that Jane, Felix and Alec were around.
Waiting, waiting, waiting. Demetri’s ‘voice’ sounded.
This wasn’t a fair fight. There was Bella and I, against Chelsea, Jane, Alex, Felix and Demetri.
“Bella...” I muttered, taking her hand and squeezing it. She did the same in response. Then she let go and sank
into her hunting crouch.
“We will offer you a choice.” Chelsea said calmly.
“Bella! Edward!” Alice’s chirpy voice sounded. She was skipping towards us with her eyes closed.
“Alice!” Bella hissed. Alice’s eyes fluttered open and took in Chelsea’s figure.
“Oh.” She whispered. She came to join us and tensed as did I.
“Aro has offered you three a place in the Volturi Guard. He also said it was a join or die decision.” I read the plan in
her head. So, we give them the choice. Simple. They refuse – they die. They agree – they come with us.
“Chelsea.” Bella hissed.
“You know we would never join the Volturi and go against our family!” Alice growled.
“We will never join!” I said.
“Aro hoped it wouldn’t turn out this way.” Chelsea shook her head.
A light bulb clicked on in all of our heads. Chelsea can loosen and tighten relationships!
We all looked at each other in terror, saying goodbyes with our eyes. We were ready to fight. We would rather die
than join the Volturi.
Jane, Alec, Felix and Demetri emerged from the trees, not even tensed. They had a fight plan. Great. They would
probably make us beg for mercy, only if we join their guard. Jane would create an illusion of pain on me while
either Felix or Demetri takes me away and Alec takes away Alice’s senses to the other would take her away.
That would leave Bella alone. Jane and Alec were useless against her but, if her shield even weakened, it would be
just Bella against 5.
I shuddered.
Or Chelsea would make us turn against each other. Either way, their plan may work. If only the others would come
out of the house!
Then I felt the pain. The pain I couldn’t escape from unless Jane frowned.
Bella must have forgotten her shield.
“Edward!” she cried as I writhed on the ground in pain.
“Bella!” Alice said. “Shi -” she was cut off as Alec did the next part of the plan.
“What?” Bella asked. Then she growled and launched herself at Jane. If I could, I would have screamed at her to
do otherwise but I couldn’t speak, not with this agony.
A strong pair of arms found me and I fell into blackness.
Bella’s Point Of View
“No!” I cried as Felix dragged Edward and Demetri took Alice out of sight. Jane and Alex disappeared but Felix and
Demetri reappeared. It was me against Chelsea, Felix and Demetri.
I couldn’t fight them and I knew it. My shield was useless now. Of course, that was what Alice was trying to tell me
before Alec attacked her.
I looked at the house. I wasn’t sure if I could get there in time. I was sure I couldn’t.
I would try anyway.
I bolted towards the side door. Felix had a sense where I was going and stopped me before I was halfway there. I
bit his arm and kicked him off me.
Felix howled in pain as Chelsea and Demetri growled at me.
I had a sudden thought. Goodbye, everyone. I love you. If only Edward could hear my thoughts at this moment!
I didn’t see when Chelsea and Demetri leaped on top of me.
What I did know was that I was going to Volterra, Italy.
They couldn’t put me in pain or make me lose my senses but they could hold me in place. Felix picked up a
struggling Edward and a limp Alice and we ran to the airport.
“Successful.” I heard Chelsea mutter.
Demetri and Felix chuckled softly. Would the others – Rosalie, Emmett, Jasper, Carlisle and Esme notice our
absence before it was too late? I hope so.
Jasper’s Point Of View
“Where’s Alice?” Esme asked. “She said she was just going to talk to Edward and Bella and Charlie.”
I looked out the door where Alice had bounded out. “I don’t see any of them.” I felt Esme’s worry. I tried to calm
her. “I don’t see Charlie’s car either.” Alice!
I pushed the door open and walked out. “They were here.” I muttered.
Carlisle appeared beside me and inhaled. “They were here.” He confirmed. “But so were Chelsea, Jane, Alec, Felix
and Demetri.”
Esme, Emmett, Rosalie, Jacob and Nessie filed out. All of them froze but Nessie gasped. “Momma? Daddy?”
“Where are you?” Nessie called.
“What now, Carlisle?” Rosalie asked.
“I imagine....” Carlisle said thoughtfully, “They were just looking for Alice, Edward and Bella. If we all went
together...”
“I’m not so sure.” Jacob said.
“What do you mean, Jacob?” Emmett asked.
“Really, look at Nessie. And, Aro collects talents remember?”
“Of course.” Esme breathed. “Nessie, you will stay here with Jacob.”
“But I wanna go!” Nessie complained.
“And Jacob, try to keep her entertained.” I said.
“Alright, Esme, Jasper.” Jacob snapped a military salute before dragging Nessie back to the house.
“Let’s go.” Carlisle said. We turned and disappeared into the trees.
Chapter 2
Alice’s Point Of View
My eyes focused groggily. I looked around. We were on a plane. Felix was on one side of me, Alec on the other.
Behind me was Bella with Chelsea and on the other side of the aisle was Edward with Demetri and Jane. I peeked
out the window. We were flying over a city close to Volterra.
Shoot! We lost. It wasn’t fair anyway... And they got us at exactly the right time. I looked at Bella.
She caught my gaze and gave me an apologetic look.
“Not your fault.” I mouthed.
I looked at Alec.
“Why...” I began.
“Aro wishes to include you in the Volturi Guard.” Alec said.
I looked at Edward. His eyes were agonized.
I wonder what the others are doing right now. And Nessie! Losing both her parents and she called me her favourite
aunt. Ouch. At least she’s got Jacob.
Alec took over again and I drifted off into a black world.

“Oh!” I gasped as my senses came back. My eyes adjusted quickly to the light. We were in the room where Aro
usually – I shuddered – transformed humans.
“What do you want, Aro?” Edward demanded.
“We want you three to you the Volturi Guard. Alec has told me that he told you that, Alice. Chelsea has also told
me you would rather die than join the Volturi, is this correct?”
“Yes.” Bella confirmed.
“I so hoped it wouldn’t go this way. I’m afraid that you will – what?” We all whirled around in shock as the door
behind us split in two and fell.
Behind that door stood Carlisle, Esme, Jasper, Emmett and Rose. The family looked so small with just those five. I
was used to the 10 people usually in the house.
“Jasper!” I sighed in relief.
I looked back at Aro. He didn’t look happy.
“Ah, Carlisle, my old friend!” Aro greeted, the expression on his face immediately changing. “How are things?”
“They were fine, Aro, until you interceded.”
“You broke the law for real this time!” Aro hissed.
“We did not! He simply did research!”
“Research!” Caius scoffed.
“Caius. We shall see if he is telling the truth.” Aro said, his expression growing calmer. “Carlisle.”
Carlisle stepped forwards and held out his hand.
Aro walked forwards and his hand met Carlisle.
After a minute, Aro lifted his hand. “I see.” Aro murmured.
“Leave then!” Caius hissed.
I shook my head. They would never learn. I ran up to Jasper and hugged him.
“I missed you, Alice.” He whispered.
“You too, Jazz.” I said happily.
“We should go.” Carlisle said quickly.
I shook my head again and ran after Carlisle.
Edward’s Point Of View
Great. High school. Again.
The second we got back to the house, Carlisle and Esme signed Emmett, Rose, Alice, Jasper, Bella and I up in a
high school – of course.
Bella and I enrolled Renesmee in another high school, just down the street.
I hope Renesmee doesn’t cause any trouble. Alice insisted she help Nessie find ‘the perfect first day of school’
outfit.
The days flew by. School had already started – we were new students. It was nearly Halloween, like anyone would
dress up anymore.
We walked through the front doors at the start of school. People turned to look at the ‘new students’ as we passed.
This was a time when I wished people wouldn’t think.
Who are they?
Are they the new students our teachers kept telling us about?
That guy is hot!
Doesn’t look like any of them are single. Shoot.
Huh, who is the one with the brown hair? She’s cute.
It was crazy. Ugh. I squeezed Bella’s hand. She was stiffening by my side. This was her first time starting high
school as a vampire. It was different.
But, I suppose it was a little to the same when she started at Forks. I laughed.
Bella looked up at me curiously. “What is it?” she asked.
“Nothing. I’ll tell you later.”
We all headed to homeroom. I was with Bella.
We quickly went to sit in our seats. The teacher did attendance.
After a minute, she called my name. “Edward Cullen.” There was surprise in her voice but she hid it quickly.
“Here.” I replied. I was tuning out the minds I kept hearing to listen to the teacher.
After another minute, she said, “Isabella Swan.” The surprise has grown.
“Bella.” Bella corrected. “Here.”
“Bella.” The teacher muttered in surprise. “Bella? Edward...”
What was she talking about? I couldn’t check. This was school, not home.
Huh. I wonder how Renesmee is doing.
Renesmee’s Point Of View
“Yes, sir.” I replied politely.
“Thank you, Renesmee.”
After class, a girl walked up to me.
“Renesmee, that was amazing! I’m Katelyn. I was wondering... could we be friends?”
“Sure!” I said gleeful to have some friends. “What’s your next class?”
“Calculus.”
“Me too!” I smiled happily.
Edward’s Point of View
“Mr. Cullen and Ms. Swan, could you stay behind for a moment?” the teacher asked as the bell rang. “I will tell your
next teacher you will be late.”
What happened? They did nothing wrong! Other students were thinking.
They did perfectly! What did they do?
“Sure.” Bella said, stacking up her books and mine.
“Everyone else, out.” The teacher ordered. The other students disappeared. “Bella... Edward.”
“Huh?” Bella asked innocently.
“Bella, look at me.”
The teacher looked up.
Bella scanned her face.
“No way.” She breathed. “Angela?”
What? Angela Weber from Forks? What was she doing here in Astoria?
“Bella... I don’t understand. How...?” Angela asked. Great. We had Angela Weber for homeroom!
“Angela, I...” Bella turned and ran out of the room, picking up her books on the way.
“Edward, did something happen to Bella? Why are you both still in high school? You still look the same...” Angela
asked.
“I think Bella wishes she could tell you.”
Angela sighed. “Do you mind coming here after school today? I should talk to you guys.”
“Sure. I’ll tell Bella.” I turned and walked out the room, picking up my books.
I found her in English. I sat by her in the back row. I listened to thoughts.
Hey, I wonder what Mrs. Weber wanted with those two. Bella Swan doesn’t look very happy. She looks like she’s
hiding something real dangerous or something.
Wonder why Edward Cullen`s late. I thought he was an ace student where he came from.
“Bella. Do you mind going to see Angela after school?” I whispered.
Bella, probably not trusting her voice, shook her head; she didn’t mind.
The rest of the day passed rather quickly.
Soon, it was time to meet Angela. I quickly went to tell Alice.
“Alice!” I called. She turned to look at me as I ran at a human pace to her side.
“What, Edward.” She said annoyed.
“Angela Weber is our homeroom teacher. Mine and Bella`s.”
“Angela?!” Alice screeched.
“Yep. Bella and I have to go meet her. Mind driving my car home?”
“No.” She growled. She turned and stalked off in the opposite direction. I wanna see her too, Edward!
“Maybe tomorrow!” I said under my breath.
Humph. She grumbled.
I rushed to homeroom. The hallways were completely empty. Each classroom only occupied one person – the
teacher.
Except for Mrs. Angela Weber’s classroom. That one included 3 people. Angela, Bella and I.
“Bella. Edward.” Angela breathed.
“I’m so sorry, Angela! I...” Bella broke into tearless sobs and cringed back into my chest.
“I thought you guys got married and then you moved away!” Angela exclaimed. “And now here you are, still the
same age as the last time I saw you! I don’t understand.”
“It would be safer if you didn’t know.” I replied. “When did you get married?” I noticed that the students here
addressed Angela as Mrs. Weber.
“2 years ago.” Angela replied. “Then we had my kid, Kieran. Mind if I tell you something?”
“Kieran...” Bella mumbled. Then a little louder, “No problem.”
“I’m going to stop aging when I hit 25. It’s not something I can control.”
“Stop aging?” Bella’s golden eyes grew wide in amazement. “I don’t understand. How...?”
“My dad told me.” I’m not sure if I should be telling them but they are still sixteen, seventeen, eighteen! “Would it
bother you if I told you I could shape-shift?”
Bella and I flinched slightly. Angela didn’t notice. I recalled the words Bella had said to me several years ago:
“If Angela turns out to be a witch, she can join the party too!”
