HUMAN LEARNING

How the human learning process does? How the people acquired their language? Does behavior an important part of this process? In well development of this topic we have to be clear about whats learning mean in order to understand whats is human learning, as you know learning is a process of get new knowledge in order to change what we know about before, changes in personality expectation, behavior, as many other characteristics which produced a change in mind. When we are talking about human learning, we usually refers to, that procedure of learning a language, new thing, an important information as meaningful as they considered in their life. But, on the other hand, we have to know what theories say about learning is, otherwise, we will not able to understand how extended this process could be. First of all, there are many theories which support different point of view, in order to achieve the central idea, I have an idea about what the authors want to achieve in their theories. First one, Pavlovs Classical Behaviorism (McLeod, 2007) which shows us behavior as the major thing on what human being learns. The fallowing theory says Learning process consisted of the formation of associations stimuli and reflexive responses therefore, if you have stimuli probably you will have a response according to the stimuli you have already done, maybe, called as reflective response, thats why human learn by repeated occurrence, associating those kind of occurrences to a response, therefore, behavior is contended to be mentalist notion of innateness and instinct because we learn by ourselves in difference situation according to our stimulusresponse. However, Skinners Operant Conditioning (McLeod, 2007) is focus on operant behavior; behavior is in which one is de-emphasized. Skinners theory says The event or stimuli- the reinforces- that follow a response and that tend to strengthen behavior or increase the probability of a recurrence of that response constitute a powerful force in the control of human behavior the reinforces in this case, however, conduce human through a stronger aspect of learning in association with stimuli and response, it is merely associated with the classical behavior, because every stimuli have as consequence a response which become a meaning in their mind. Skinner mentioned that, we are government by consequence of our behavior, but whats Skinner really want to say? To be more specifically, every people is responsible of their action or stimuli on which every action have a consequence or effect which is the same, as in learning process, we learn according what we do, because we get a response in our mind about the stimuli we have taken. Although, Skinner was extremely methodological in his theory even with empirical conception, his theory had an impact on the way in which we understand human learning and on education also the belief thing to teach effectively and successfully reinforce by designed a program step by step in a virtually way, furthermore, this theory took an important role on foreign language teaching. On the other hand, we have Ausubels Meaningful Theory (Hergenhahn, (2003)), to sum up the central idea think about a child, when they are growing up, they are learning new thing,

associating facts with meaning. Example: A child who is hearing a sound around his environment, then he notice which thing is making that noise immediately he associate this one with a meaning, during he is repeat an repeat the same situation, another example it could be when a child touch a candle on fire and suddenly he burned his hand, immediately associate with a mining which represent a danger in his mind. In his theory Ausubel explained a good point because we can learn from meaningful situation if we have a meaningful learning set; it says if we relate the new learning thing to what we already know, we will get a meaningful about. Also Ausubel was focus on rote and meaningful learning on which he clarify the differences in terms of retention or long memory, a meaningful is presented in the cognitive process of learn, is keep in long memory. Rogerss Theory (McLed, 2007) focused on affective than cognitive consideration, he believe in fully functioning person, So as in affective way Rogers analyzed how the people behavior is through their emotion, then if this emotion affect their behavior, remained, this theory talk about human learning its mean that, the emotion will affect the way in wich you are learning because according to how do you feel, if you are frustrated, upset, wherever mood you are is reflected in your behavior as a result of emotion we have to try to protect ourselves from failure, criticism and punishment because of that depend or process of learn something new. In addition to this information, theories and type of learning that I read, I can say that as someone said learning is a change in behavior, whats mean? I mean that every occurrence have a consequence, every consequence have a result and finally ever result have a strong meaningful keep in mind, for that reason we learn everything, because we are capable for learn wherever thing if necessary. Everything is a challenge then we have to be conscientiously what we are going to learn with.
