Grading System
Academic Integrity Policy Students in Credit Hours Programs are expected to conform to academic integrity policy as explained in Students Code of Conduct: http://www.eng.cu.edu.eg/newprogs/230209 /2.pdf. Any sign of cheating or plagiarism in any of class tasks, presentation ideas or materials will mean the students in that group get ZERO for the content grade.
Course Policy
Attendance policy: Although there are no grades for attendance in this course, attendance is mandatory for participating in class discussions and carrying out class activities. Attendance will be taken twice each session, at the beginning of the session and after the break. NOBODY will be admitted to class after 15 minutes of class start time. If you are late at the beginning of class and cant be admitted to class, you can still attend the rest of the session after the break.
Course Policy
Cell phones Your cell phones should be set to silent, vibration, or off mode. If your phone goes off during class time, you will be sent out and taken absent for the session.
Food and drinks in class All types of food, snacks and gum are NOT allowed during class time. Yet, water and hot drinks are allowed.
Course Policy
For each assignment and class task, the instructors will distribute an assignment description sheet with all the requirements of the task, due date, and the distribution of grades. All class tasks will be done electronically and submitted to your respective course instructor as soft copy at the end of class. This means that each team should have one laptop in class to do the task. It is the students responsibility to keep track of important dates of class tasks, assignments and presentation. Students need to check their e-mails and the class page on egypteducation.org regularly for announcements and materials.
