Here's how to install and use the program... For Windows version 7: Copy piping-library.dgnlib to: C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Microstation V8i(SELECTseries)\WorkSpace\Interfaces\Micro Station\piping-library (create the "piping-library" folder first) If your folder structure looks different than above, due a search on your comput er for a folder named "DEFAULT", This is where you should create a new folder named "piping-library" and copy the provided *.dgnlib file there. Copy piping-library.pdf to: C:\program files\cadcells Start MicroStation. From the MicroStation Manager Window under the workspace\use r interface, choose "piping-library". This will select the dgnlib file "piping-library.dgnlib" that you placed within Microstation. Open any design file. You should now see the pull-down menu "Piping-Library" When you select a catagory you want, a dialog box will open showing each cell th at is available. You can double click on the name of the cell to insert it into your drawing. Microstation by default will find the cell libraries in the directory. If the cell libraries are not found, check or modify your configuration variable for cell library search path (ms_cell). Set ms_cell to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Bentley\Work Space\Standards\cell if it's not already there. Save your settings. Cell libraries can be put in another location (i.e. server) but you must tell Microstation where to look for them. Setting the cell configuration search path to your new location will find them. All cells should be placed "true scale". Setting the "True Scale" option within Microstation's Place Active Cell dialog b ox will allow all cells to be placed to scale in design files with different working units. All cells have their elements set to "bylevel,bycolor,bystyle, and byweight. Cells will inherit the atttributes (level, color, weight, style) of your current level settings. All cell libraries have the following working units: 12,000 per foot. Only a small sample of cell libraries are given for you to try out. (some cell libraries contain only a few cells). Please review the provided pdf file for a complete listing of all the cells you get if you were to purchase.
