Version : 1. Gerber Accumark consists of 2 different versions Accumark advanced edition and Accumark professional edition. 2. Accumark advanced edition is only an basic software contains only a few option to manage the patterns and to draw simple styles. 3. Accumark professional edition is the fully loaded software. 4. Only Gerber Pattern Designer and Gerber manual Marker Making in the package, all the other things are considered as optional. Compatibility : 1. Cannot read Iso files in to the marker making.. 2. Cannot read Hpgl files in to the marker making.. Gerber Pattern Designer : 1. Drawing curves using digitized points is one of the biggest disadvantage, the shapes are not good and smooth. 2. Selection of option that used to move, or create blocks, managing advanced tools need more number of mouse clicks, not user friendly. 3. Cannot create drop spec and other sizes in Gerber Pattern Designer. Gerber Marker Making : 1. Auto nesting is not included in the package. 2. Lay planner (Gerber cutplan) is not included in the package and it was not used by any of the customer due to poor results. 3. Tubular automatic folding is not possible in Gerber marker. 4. Shade markers can be managed only by manual placement. These all above points can be used against 8.2 version of Accumark, that too compared to their fully loaded version.!
