The holiday season is here with lots of special activities planned. Come to our annual Breakfast with Santa at Saint Johns United Church of Christ. Everyone (residents, staff, family and friends) is invited to enjoy the magic of the Christmas season at our annual Christmas Pageant being held in the chapel. Mary Beth Flynn, a professional artist is coming to SAS to teach weekly watercolor painting during the month of December. Some of the pictures created during these sessions will be auctioned at the Emmaus Open your Heart with Art Auction. Join us for Christmas goodies at our Hot Chocolate Social. Get in the holiday spirit by attending a Christmas Concert performed by the Boeing Concert Band. Visit the Miniature Museum for a tour and then go out to lunch. Come with us to the Jewel box in Forest Park to view an outstanding Poinsettia display. Create holiday cards and decorations to celebrate the Holiday Season. The volunteer Club members are ringing bells for the Salvation army at the Bass Pro shop on the last Sunday Evening before Christmas. So if you are out and about consider stopping by to wish our Volunteer club bell ringers well. Sign up for some cooking classes and enjoy the joy of holiday baking. Attend our annual Christmas Cookie Event to decorate cookies to take home. Take a walk in Old Town, Saint Charles to experience the Carolers, Characters, Music, Lights, and Fun! Ride with us to view the Christmas lights in Santas Land in Eureka; the big display next to Six Flags. Join us to say goodbye to 2013 and welcome in 2014 at our New Years Eve party.
