Northwests campus organizations to help out the research side of fighting cancer. Below are the details of what Relay for Life entails: DATE: September 11,2014 WHERE: Beal Park TIME: Nodaway Countys Relay For Life estimated from 6:00pm to 6:00am PRICE: $10-15 typically per team member (This is a tax exempt event. Several teams find local businesses to sponsor their team and cover the price.) Prices include T-shirts Team members of 12-15 PLUS a captain Each team is encouraged to have a member walking at all times

Relay for Life, an event hosted by the American Cancer Society, began in 1985. This event is present in

5,000 communities in the United States, 20 other countries, and includes the participation of 3.5 million people in the United States.
For more than 65 years, the American Cancer Society has been providing research from changes in lifestyles to developing new approaches in therapy. As the Pre-Health and Occupations Club, you and your members are aware of the importance that this research has provided in the last 65 years. This walk CELEBRATES participants and survivors who have overcome cancer; REMEMBERS those who have lost to the diseases; and HONORS those who are still fighting. Relay for Life encourages the motto FIGHT

BACK by taking action against this disease.
