    PROJECT NUMBER (XXXX):


    1. Each Purchase Order has assigned 4 character.
    2. XX XX

    The Last 2 Character will be Purchase Order no.(Ex.If the Purchase order no is
    5 the last 2 Character will be 05).
    The First 2 Character will be Last 2 digit of year.(Ex.If the year is 2013 means the
    first 2 Character will be 13).
    3. So the Project Number is 1305.
    PHASE NUMBER (YY) :
    1. Phase number has 2 characters.
    2. YY
    Phase Number should Start from 00 to 99.
    3. If a Project has Single Lot the phase no should be 00 or else the phase no should start from 01 to
    99.
    ASSEMBLY MARK / SINGLE PART MARK (M):
    1. M
    Prefix for Assembly mark/Small Part Mark (Refer Table Pg No:2)
    2. For items not listed in that table we have to suggest a Prefix and get confirm from BSI before
    Modeling.
    MARK ITEM NUMBER (***):

    Mark Item Number Characters should be within 2 to 6 Characters.

    Numbering Assignment:
    The following Numbering convention should be mandatorily adopted in all drawings, data
    reports, go data files & StruMIS reports (including Packing Lists).
