On October 5th, 1958, the WEST GERMAN CHRISTIAN MISSION and the GOSPEL BROADCASTING MISSION cooperated to begin the first Christian Broadcast in the German
language. After much prayer and effort, the program 'FORSCHETIN DER SCHRIFT" (or translated, "Search the Scriptures") became a reality. It is heard every Sunday morning over Radio Luxembourg, ond presents the Plea for New Testament Christianity to the people of Germany in their own language. This is done with the attitude of "let's search the scriptures together' and the audience is invited to follow us in their Bibles in an effort to search for
God's Truth!
Brother Fausz personally prepares each sermon in German, and preaches it on tape at the Edword Fausz, Missionory recording studIo near Frankfurt, where German hymns are added. It is then forwarded to Radio Luxembourg for actual broadcasting. God has blessed the work to such an extent that letters are daily pouring in from listeners in both Eastern und Western Europe. So far, letters have been received from Poland, East Germany, West Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Switzerland, Austria, and Saarland. Besides these nine countries, there are indications that the program is being heard In other countries as well. Space will not permit us to print copies of all the letters we receive, but included here, are just a few of the typical letters we receive through the day's mail:
