Importance of Family Planning in Indonesia

Family planning is a program that encouraged the government to suppress the rate of population growth Indonesia. This is due to the population of Indonesia occupied the position of number four in the world.If not controlled, then this population explosion will be a social problem that can interfere with development of the nation. Some people of Indonesia think that doing the family planning program is prohibited, because they thought it was a little murder, there is another Javanese term which says that many children are a lot of luck, that is the reason that makes people a lot of java have many children. But the majority of Indonesian people as well to my knowledge their support for family planning programs because it is more useful in their lives, and also may be helpful to their family economy. When I asked about my assumptions about family planning I would say I was very supportive once the program is created by the Indonesian government to suppress the Indonesian population growth rate, because the program is very beneficial, both for mothers, children, families and for the government. The first is benefits of family planning to prevent mother is unwanted pregnancies, prevent at least one of four maternal deaths, maternal health, pregnancy planning a more programmed.

The second is a benefit to the child, such as reducing the risk of infant mortality, improving infant health, preventing infant malnutrition, infant growth and development of more secure, the need for exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months relative can be fulfilled, get the quality of love that more leverage.

further benefits for families is to improve the welfare of the family, more awake or harmonization of family affection larger, more family-controlled economy.

The last is a benefit for the government to help the government reduce the risk of explosion or the baby boomer population to raise the standard of living of the people and the nation, efforts to reduce maternal mortality, infant and child, improved health status, duties and functions of management leadership in the administration of state and government run smoothly .

So in essence the family planning program is essential to apply especially to Indonesia that already was ranked fourth in the world's densest populations. Because in this program there are many myriad benefits derived both for the welfare state and the family itself. To the government of Indonesia should have been more encouraging more family planning programs, given the increase in population is directly proportional to human needs, it also affects the welfare of Indonesian people. And also to do more outreach to the community about what the family planning program. For these families should also think about the welfare of their families.
