Robotics for Next Generation Official Robo-club of Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering & Technology, Vishnupuri,

Nanded

Present,

Theme:
A source of energy has been invented by researchers, which is concentrated in a small energy capsule. There are harmful radioactive radiations in the area where energy capsule is located. You need to obtain the energy capsule by using your non-human force, a team of robots. These two robots will overcome the difficulties and bring energy capsule to safe zone. Once energy capsule is obtained, you need to use it to activate a generator to obtain the key and remove the radiations from area by placing the key in key hole.

M.R. - Manual Robot A.R. - Autonomous robot All length dimensions are in mm

Tasks:
M.R. Task: (Level 1) 1. M.R. picks up the Bricks from Brick Zone and places it on the grid. 2. Out of 4 bricks M.R. can place only 2 bricks on the grid before climbing the ramp. 3. M.R. crosses the broken bridge after being repaired to collect the Energy Capsule block 4. It puts energy capsule on the grid in Pick Up Zone. A.R. Task: (Level 1) 1. A.R. starts from A.R. Start Zone as soon as round starts. 2. A.R. finds the bricks on the grid placed by M.R. and repairs the bridges. 3. A.R. finds the capsule placed in Pick Up Zone and brings it to the A.R. Home Zone. M.R. Task: (Level 2) 1. M.R. can pick up the 2 bricks from Brick Zone and places it on the grid. 2. M.R. can climb the ramp without placing the 2 bricks on the grid. 3. M.R. should collect the key from conveyor near Pick Up Zone and carry it to key hole in Central Zone. A.R. Task: (Level 2) 1. A.R. finds the 4 bricks on the grid to repair the bridge. 2. A.R. collects the energy capsule block from home and activates the Power Up Zone by pressing a switch. 3. A.R. brings the Energy Capsule back to A.R. Home Zone after pressing the switch

Bonus Tasks
(Level 1) 1. A.R. can use minimum bricks for repairing the bridge. More the number of Bricks in Brick Zone helps to gain extra point 2. M.R. comes back to Home Zone after placing the capsule in Pick Up Zone (Level 2) 1. A.R. can use minimum bricks for repairing the bridge. More the number of Bricks in Brick Zone helps to gain extra point 2. A.R. brings Energy Capsule back to Home Zone.

Competition Structure
Level 1 (Elimination Round): Each team is provided with a time of 6 minutes. They have to complete the task & score maximum points during this round. Points scored in elimination round will not be considered in next level. Level 2 (Battle Round): Each team is provided with a time of 4 minutes. Team completing the task first wins the level.

Gameplay Sequence:
(Level 1) 1. M.R. and A.R. start from their Start Zones as the game begins. 2. M.R. picks up the brick from Brick Zone and places them on the grid. 3. A. R. catch holds the brick and start repairing the bridge. 4. M.R. after placing minimum of 2 bricks climbs the Broken Bridge. 5. After the broken bridge is repaired by A.R., M.R. moves forward to get the Energy Capsule. 6. M.R. picks the energy capsule and places it in Pick Up Zone. 7. A.R. gets hold of energy capsule in the Pick Up Zone and brings it back to the Home Zone 8. M.R. comes back to Home Zone after placing the capsule in Pick Up Zone (Optional) (Level 2)
1. M.R. and A.R. start from their Start Zones as the game begins. 2. M.R. picks up the brick from Brick Zone and places them on the grid. 3. A. R. catch holds the brick placed on the grid (2 bricks already placed on specified 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9.

coordinates.) and start repairing the bridge. M.R. can climb the bridge without placing two bricks on grid After the broken bridge is repaired by A.R., M.R. moves forward to get the Key. After the bridge is repaired by A.R. it brings the Energy Capsule from Home Zone to Power Up Zone. A.R. presses the switch with the help of Energy Capsule and helps M.R. to obtain the key near Pick Up Zone. M.R. obtains the key and runs to place it first before the other M.R. and wins the Battle Round A.R. brings the capsule back to Home Zone. (Optional)
