Center Parcs range of team building activities can help to; develop leadership skills, improve communication, encourage initiative, formulate trust and foster greater team working. We have activities that will t in with your timescales, meet your budget and suit varying levels of physical abilities. All our activities can be used to complement your conference schedule or can simply work as stand-alone team building sessions or activity days. Our experienced and dedicated professionals, understand the importance of a team event and the positive effect on morale, motivation, condence and performance. They will ensure you leave with valuable skills and a sense of achievement from the event, whilst having fun on the way. Center Parcs has also partnered with KDM Events who specialise in providing a range of indoor team building events and activities designed especially for tight schedules.

Aqua Tree Trek


Event Details
Have you got a head for heights and nerves of steel? Test your mettle with our adventurous and challenging course and get an adrenaline buzz thatll last all day. Up in the sky youll traverse from tree to tree on nerve-wracking suspended paths, reaching unknown heights, youll nd different obstacles to conquer. You will work as a team negotiating the elements carrying as much water across the course without spilling it.

Low Ropes
Event Details
Set within a dedicated area amongst the trees, lies a collection of exciting and challenging Low Ropes elements arranged in a circuit. Each group must try to solve and traverse without touching the ground. Teamwork and communication are essential to achieve your goal.

Concept
Each team will collect points on completion of each activity; the team with the highest success rate will collect the prize.

Concept
Your team will have to complete the Tree Trekking course together and transfer the most water across the elements. The team to have completed the course and spilt the least amount of water on the way is the winner.

Element Breakdown
This activity is done as a group in which you will be split into teams competing against each other. The course is 0.5 metres above the ground and you will discover obstacles such as Equilibrium Challenge, Chasm Crossing and The Spiders Web. These challenges are designed to stimulate, encourage communication and bring out the best in your team.

The course is high in the trees and you will discover obstacles such as Organ pipes Indiana Bridge and The Spiders Web. To secure victory, good teamwork and communication skills are a must.

Back 2 School
Event Details
Experience the fun and laughter of a traditional School Sports Day, by participating in a light-hearted recreation of those bygone carefree days of school life. We will transfer you and your team back in time. A pair of trainers and suitable sports clothing and youre in the team - its as simple as that. There will be traditional school sports activities, which require little or no skill but more important is the commitment to join in and have fun with colleagues. A little effort may be required on some of the activities, but they are not too physically demanding.

Event Details
Have you got the nerve to climb high for your team? Safely harnessed, youll be ready to tackle our spectacular and exciting high ropes course. Guided by an instructor, youll climb poles to different levels, then balance your way along beams and ropes. But remember, it gets harder the higher you go! Youll need a good head for heights.Teamwork and encouragement is essential.

Concept
The objective is to collect as many stars as possible. The more stars each team collects the better their reward will be.

An ideal way to round off a morning or afternoon meeting; this activity is good for bringing teams together and provides a light-hearted, humorous close to a meeting.

Element Breakdown
Wires & Beams Traverses - Individuals traverse across three levels of balance beams and three levels of wires and hanging ropes. High All Aboard - four team members will have to climb the 9m pole one after the other and stand together on the small platform at the top. Leap of Faith - Climb the 9m pole and jump for the hanging trapeze. Jacobs Ladder four team members climb the giant ladder to 9m. They must work together to gain trust and condence as the ladder rungs get further apart the higher you go.

This is a group activity where a number of teams compete together to nish in the highest possible position. Games include: 3-legged race, bean bags and skipping.

Mission International
Event Details
Can you complete The Mission? Have you got the stamina to go the distance? You and your team will complete challenges around the world in order to gain clues. A control team will gure out the co-ordinates to send you on your way. The ultimate challenge is to open the mystery box and claim your reward.

Rescue Castaway
Event Details
Be prepared to get wet! You and your team will build a trusty craft so that you can rescue another member of the team. Once ready youll travel across tricky waters, navigating to the destination to collect and rescue your team member. Your task is to bring them back to dry land as they have the clue to unlock the treasure.

Concept
This is a teamwork mission on foot and by bike, using orienteering, problem-solving and initiative skills. There are group activities at various locations around the Parc. The teams task is to open The Box and they must decide how to divide up the groups in order to complete the required tasks.

Concept
Build your raft from the ropes, planks and barrels provided. Launch the raft on the lake and travel across to collect a member of your team and take them back to shore. You will be split into teams and each team will have to negotiate for equipment to build the raft. Once the bartering is complete all teams can commence the building stage, all teams will need to rescue their team member to collect the prize.

Element Breakdown
The group will need to split into ve teams, one team will be the control centre and the other four will travel around the Parc to complete the tasks. Youll need to work together as a team but dont forget to watch the clock.

Good team work and negotiation skills are an advantage but a great sense of humour is event better. All participants will be supplied with wet-suit, wetboots, buoyancy aid and helmet.

Orienteering
Event Details
Initiative is vital in this challenge. In teams you will travel around the Parc looking for clues. You will work together as a team to calculate the best route to take; each location will need to be discovered. We provide a map to navigate around the Parc so you wont get lost. Good use of time and organisation will help ensure you achieve maximum points.

The Apprentice
Event Details
You could be the project manager, the accountant, the designer, the sales executive or the tea boy, but no matter what your role, you will work hard to make sure you are there to hear the words...Youre Hired!

Concept
Each person must act as an integral member of a team to succeed, but there can only be one winner. So its every man and woman for themselves in this race to win the ultimate accolade, as you do battle to become The Apprentice.

Concept
The aim of the event is to encourage teamwork with colleagues by means of planning and executing a course in the quickest time possible, achieving the correct outcome of the planned route, using team skills, map reading and a basic level of tness.

Element Breakdown
Undertaking a series of challenging tasks, head-to-head against your rivals, candidates must rst elect a project manager to take responsibility for the task and then perform as a team in a bid to secure victory. Winning on each task is rewarded with a cash prize and success results in promotion, as members of the losing team face their peers and seek to justify their actions. At the end of each task participants will move between teams to start a fresh on their next task.

Element Breakdown
There will be several grid references around the Parc, each team will have to visit each one. Firstly they will need to work out the points as a team, they will need to decide which is the best route to take, then the race is on to be the rst team back.

Race to Success
Event Details
Race to Success is a fantastic, fun-lled indoor event designed to challenge teams to work together to successfully complete a project. Involving elements of innovation, creativity, money management and driving skill each participant will nd an area to excel in!

Crystal Maze
Event Details
Crystal Maze is an event of problem solving and teamwork. Created to demonstrate the benets of communication and cooperation between individuals and teams, Crystal Maze tests time management skills and emphasises the benets of collective input and the power of teamwork.

Concept
From an initial budget, teams will calculate how much to spend on creating their own team kit car, the method of propulsion and power, type of wheels and frame and last but not least the accessories!

Concept
Underlining the importance placed on groups, working both as separate units and as one body, Crystal Maze literally builds to a grand nal where individual elements are brought together and the teams unite to achieve their common goal.

The event is based around simple mechanics. Using very simple construction techniques the teams require no automotive or engineering skills.

T  eams complete mental and physical challenges in each four themed zones: Aztec, Industrial, Futuristic and Medieval. S  uccess in each challenge earns the team crystals, which they exchange for cryptic assembly instructions and machine parts. A  s the teams interpret their briefs, they will realise that they must cooperate with, rather than, compete with other teams to create The Crystal Maze.

We all remember the winners, and we denitely remember the losers, as Reality Shows have rapidly taken over our television schedules. Weve got ice dancing, wife swapping, jungle surviving, driving schools, castaways, DIY disasters, pop stars... whatever next?

Event Details
All the fast moving action of the newsroom as you make todays news. Live from Broadcasting House, each team mans the news desk for the day, proving once and for all you should not believe everything you see in the media.

Concept
This indoor team building event invites you to create a short video/pilot episode for the next generation of reality-based entertainment to hit our screens. Taxed with a strict production budget, each team must write, lm and star in a reality show of their choice. Having plotted the subject and style of their reality show, participants must dene their objectives and prioritise accordingly. Teams will be provided with props, costumes, hats and wigs and they must utilise individual skills to maximum effect to achieve their objectives against tight deadlines.

Concept
Each news team will have a range of different assignments as they set off in hot pursuit of their stories. Teams must exercise their creativity whilst attempting to produce a riveting piece of journalistic licence that will hold their audience spellbound.

Element Breakdown
Each team will write, produce and lm a mix of studio or location stories complete with the inevitable word from our sponsors during the commercial break! You will be provided with cameras, props, costumes, hats and wigs whilst the teams provide the wit, star reporters, programme format and glamour! Good communication, teamwork, decision-making, innovation, humour and use of imagination are essential to produce the best piece, which will have a big screen preview and be put to a panel of judges.

Our homes and lives are constantly lled with the latest gadgets, cutting edge fashions and the next big fad to hit the streets. Shopping channels and infomercials have become the main vehicle for pushing the least necessary and most unwanted products onto the market... but they sell!

Divided into teams it is your job to script, lm and present a pilot sales programme, showcasing a range of products in a shopping channel/advertising style. Having chosen a range of must have products, each team must dene their objectives and prioritise accordingly using only the available resources. All the props, products, costumes, hats and wigs will be supplied whilst the teams provide the wit, creative genius, programme format and glamour.
