The Appointed Times of Yahuah and Their Messianic Fulfillments

Part 1 of 7 Shabbat (HaGadol) and The Birth of the Messiah

Whereas most Messianic scholars like to begin with Pesach (Passover) as fulfilled
by the Mashiach's death, and end with Sukkot (Tabernacles or Booths) as fulfilled
by His birth, I'm a little disestablishmentarianist here. I like to start with a
particular Shabbat, called Shabbat HaGadol (Great Sabbath) as being fulfilled by
Mashiach's birth and end with Sukkot as being fulfilled by our entering into His
rest in the New Yerushalayim. The first Shabbat HaGadol before Passover was a
great miracle, some say as great as the Red Sea crossing. Whereas other Messianic
sholars reference Luke for supporting Yahushua being born at Sukkot, I use Luke
for supporting Shabbat HaGadol before Pesach as being fulfilled by Yahushua's
birth. I see the birth of Yahushua as the first objective toward the goal of
entering Into the rest of Yahuah, not as the goal at the end of the set apart
appointed times of Yahuah. So I want to discuss these three subtopics regarding
the first Shabbat HaGadol and the birth of Yahushua: (1) the first Shabbat
Hagadol; (2) Luke's Besorah (good tidings) and Shabbat HaGadol; and (3) The birth
as the first objective, not the final goal.

(1) The first Shabbat HaGadol was on the 10th day of the first month of the Abib.
This was originally rehearsed when the Yisra'elites were to go and find the
Passover lamb. It was to be 1 year old without spot or defect. Some say it was an
event ever bit as miraculous as the Red Sea crossing, because under other
circumstances, there is no way that the Egyptians, who worshipped sheep, would
have allowed the Yisra'elites to have done this. They were to take the lamb and
feed it and treat it as a pet until the 14 day of the 1st month when they were to
slaughter it and place the blood of the lamb on the doorposts and lentils of their
houses. When the temple was in full function, the cohanim shepherds would go into
the fields north of Beth-lechem on the 10th day of the first month to the fields
where King Dawid used to shepherd his sheep as a boy, and find a lamb without
defect and place at the door of the Outer Court of the Temple. That gives us
background for the besorah of Luke, the topic of which we will turn our attention
now.

(2) Luke's besorah contains the account of events leading up to the birth of the
Mashiach. Scholars of equal esteem are divided as to when Zecharyahu (father of
Yahuchanan the immersion witness) was in the Temple when Gabriel announced the
conception of the forerunner of the Messiah. I won't go in to Flavius Josephus,
whose writings have been called into question by many scholars, but I believe that
the announcement of Yahuchanan's conception was during the time of the dedication
of the Temple in Chisleu (approximating our December 25), would be born on or near
the Feast of Teruah, beginning the days of teshuvah (repentence), making
Yahushua's conception on or near Shavuot (remember the Spiritual reunion of Miriam
and Elizabeth?) and thus Yahushua would be born just a little before Passover. The
priestly shepherds would be in the fields of Dawid the King, looking for the
Passover lamb on the 10th of the 1st month and the angels would guide them to him.
In Luke 2:41,42, it says that every year Miriam and Yahusef went to Yerushalayim
for Pesach, and when Yahushua "was" 12 years old, they went to Yerushalayim as was
the custom of the Feast. I've asked two Greek Orthodox people the same question
about was, because there are two terms in Greek for "was", "egeneto" and "eyn". I
asked my wife's boss, Nick from Cypress, while working in Exeter, California and a
restaurant owner in Lake Elsinore, what, if any, is the difference between the
words "egeneto" and "eyn" when used in the context "was" 12 years old. They both
answered the same. The "egeneto" means at the persons 12th birthday, while "eyn"
means any time in the person's 12th year. The term used in Luke was "egeneto". If
they left Netsereth (Nazareth) on the 10th of Abib, they would arrive on the 14th.
Yahushua would be there until the anniversary of His circumcision at the appointed
time of Bikarim, making His circumcision parallel with the first barley harvest on
the Mt. of Olives, discussing Torah and the prophets, no doubt with the same
cohenim that found Him with the guidence of the angels 12 years earlier. This
brings us to the fulfilling of the first appointed time as the first of 6
objectives toward the goal and not the goal.

(3) The first objective is the birth of Mashiach to fulfill the appointed time for
setting apart the lamb (the 10th day of the 1st month) and not the goal a the end
of the set apart times. The "incarnation" if you will, is the first thing the
Meshiach would have to accomplish; it was the beginning of the process He would
have to undergo so that He, Immanu-el, Elohim with us, could build the New
Yerushalayim, the end goal. Just as seconds mark time as you progress toward
minutes, and minutes mark time as you progress toward hours, so the Shabbaths mark
time as you progress through the other appointed times from Pesach to Sukkot, from
HIs death to the goal, the built Renewed Yerushalayim. The way I see it, there are
six objectives of appointed times to fulfill from Shabbat HaGadol before Pesach to
Kippur (Atonement), from the birth to the Great White Throne Judgment, and then
the goal will come to be, Sukkot as fulfilled by our entering into the ultimate
Shabbath of His rest in the Renewed Yerushalayim. That brings us to our
conclusion.

In conclusion, we have discussed how the Shabbath as the primary objective (3),
the besorah of Luke (2), and the original Shabbat HaGadol before Pesach give us
good reason to consider that Yahushua may very well have been born in the Spring
because if fits the pattern of Scripture. Luke no doubt knew of Yahushua's birth
from interviews with Yahushua's mother Miriam when he and Shaul visited Yahuchanan
the Emissary in Ephesus. The very first 10th of Nissan was a huge miracle. The
next discussion will be the 2nd of 7 where I will discuss how Yahushua fulfilled
Pesach by His slaughter.

PS: In Yahuchan's besorah, it says there was a dinner in Yahushua's honor 6 days
before Pesach. According to Vine's Expository Dictionary, this was no mere supper
prepared for Him, but a full blown banquet in His honor. If it began at the end of
the 9th of Abib and continued into the evening of the10th (Yahushua's birthday),
and then Pesach was begun at the end of the 14th going into the 15th, then you
could see how this could very well be Yahushua's last birthday, celebrated by a
dinner in his honor, as Jews are known to do, 6 days before Pesach. Whether or not
I'm right, it's food for thought. Shabbath Shalom.

The Appointed Times of Yahuah and Their Messianic Fulfillments:Part 2 of 7


Pesach/Crucifixion

The second appointed time of Yahuah and its fulfillment has a strong consensus
among Messianics, and I agree with the consensus; Yahushuah fulfilled Pesach by
His blood being shed on the cross at the time of the slaughtering of the Passover
lamb in the Temple, and subsequently being laid in the tomb, so that He did not
eat the Passover meal with His disciples, as He had said the night before, when He
used the pre-passover Matzoh and Wine to show that the true Passover Matzoh and
wine would be His dead body and living blood that would be shed to bring His
people out of Babylon and back to Torah. I believe that Ron Wyatt found the true
Ark of the Covenant under the site just to the left of the true cross of Yahushua
and that the blood of Yahushua poured onto the Kippur (covering) of the Ark to
make eternal atonement for our sins. I want to talk about 3 aspects of the 2nd
appointed Messianic Fulfillment: (1) the original Passover in Egypt; (2) the
fulfillment on the cross and in the tomb; and (3) the meaning that Ron Wyatt's
discovery brings to bear on the subject.
(1) The original Pesach in Egypt had to do with the slaughtering of the lamb,
placing the blood on the doorposts and lentils (in the form of a cross), and
eating all of the physical lamb and burning anything left over the next morning. I
believe the substitution of chicken for lamb in most Jewish Pesach celebrations is
a way to try to skirt around the fact that it was the Lamb of Yahuah that would
save them from their sins. I believe that the cross is truly is a pagan symbol of
Tammuz, but we have to remember that the Egyptians and Romans worshipped Tammuz. I
believe the reason the blood was put on the doorpost in the pattern of the
shedding of His blood later on the cross, was a judgement on the Egyptians. They
knew that this was to mean the death of the worship of Thammuz and the
resurrection of the worship of Yahuah. That brings us to Yahushua's fulfillment.

(2) I believe that Yahushua was slaughtered at the same time the lambs, who had
been brought to the Hekal on the 10th and were now being slaughtered on the 14th
so that the Pesach celebration could begin at the end of the 14th day of the first
month into the evening of the beginning of the 15th day. At the time Yahushuah
died, there was a great earthquake and according to the Besorah of Mattiythyahu,
the graves on the Mount of Olives were opened. Notice that, while the graves were
open, the occupants of the graves did not go into Yerushalayim at that time. For a
discussion of when they did go into Yerushalayim, see my next installment on the
Appointed times. This brings us to Ron Wyatt's discovery.

(3) In the mid 1990s Ron Wyatt reported finding the site of the true cross on
Golgotha and the true site of the tomb where He was buried, as well as Yermeyahu's
Grotto where the Ark of the Covenant had been hidden away for safe keeping when
the Babylonians came to sack the Hekal for all its treasures. Yahuah told
Yermeyahu to buy a property from his cousin about 6 centuries before Yahushua died
to show that the land of Yisra'el was bought with a price and would be redeemed,
and that the people of Yahuah would one day return to the land from which they
were taken. That property was "bought with a price". It's interesting to note that
before the Babylonians came, the twin pillars in front of the Hekal were 5 cubits
high, and when the Babylonians came, they were 3 cubits high. Michael Rood pointed
out that Shlomo used Egyptian sand elevators to lower the Ark of the Covenant to a
place below where a tunnel would take them to Yermeyahu's Grotto, to store the Ark
for the time when Yahushua's blood falling on the Ark would give the term "bought
with a price" new meaning.

In conclusion, we have looked at the relevance of Ron Wyatt's finding had on the
2nd appointed fulfillment, the actual fulfillment at the cross and in the tomb,
and the original appointed time of Pesach in Egypt. According to Ron Wyatt, both
the land and people of Yahuah are bought with a price. Yahushua was nailed to a
Thammuz cross because the Romans were pagans. The original pattern of the blood of
the lamb on the doors of Yahuah's people in Mitzraim was in a cross as a judgment
on the worship of Tammuz by Egyptians. Thus we have a very meaningful way to look
at the Messianic fulfillment of the 2nd appointed time, Pesach
(Passover/Yahushua's death and burial). Please look for the 3rd installment of
this series. It gets better.

Part 3 of 7 Bikarim/Resurrection

The third of the appointed set apart times fulfiiled by a Messianic event, to my
thinking, is Bikarim or First Fruits and is fulfilled, not so much by the
resurrection of Yahushua Himself, but by His first priestly act as our Cohen Gadol
(Great High Priest). First of all, I believe that Yahushua rose from the dead,
making not only His first birth, but His rebirth, on a Shabbath. Second of all,
there is a reason why Yahushua told Miriam not to touch Him. Third of all, Ron
Wyatt's discovery adds fuel to this discussion. In this 3rd of 7 discussions on
the set apart appointed times, I want to explain in greater detail these three
aspects of Yahushuah's fulfillment of the appointed time called Bikurim or First
Fruits: (1) not Yahushua's own resurrection; (2) Yahushua's first act as Cohen
Gadol; (3) Ron Wyatt's discovery.

(1) I want to give you three reasons why I do not believe Yahushua rose from the
dead on Bikurim of Firstfruits. First off, the first day of the week begins at
dusk, not dawn, and the Greek term for dawn can also be translated as dusk, so the
text should read "as the day was turning dusk toward the first day of the week",
meaning that when Yahushua's mother got there, Yahushua had already risen on
Shabbat. Secondly, His resurrection, or 2nd birth, as fuel to the meaning of
Shabbat as a day of resurrection from the dead; thus, the Shabbath before Pesach
signified His first birth or incarnation and the Shabbath after Pesach, His second
birth or resurrection. Finally, when Scripture and Tradition collide, I will go
with Scripture every time. And this brings us to the second point of our
discussion.

(2) It was Yahushua's first act as our Cohen Gadol (Great High Priest), not His
resurrection that fulfilled the appointed time of Bikurim (First Fruits). Do you
remember the account where Miriam, overwhelmed by discovering His true identity
and wanted to hug him, but Yahushua told her not to touch Him, because He had not
been to the Father, but later Thomas was able to touch the nail and spear scars in
His body? Part of the law of bikurim is that no one is to touch the priest before
making the wave offering before Yahuah. When Yahushuah had died, the graves of
many prophets were opened on the Mount of Olives, and when Yahushua rose from the
dead, they went into Yerushalayim to testify about the Mashiach to the cohenim
(priests) many of whom no doubt had witnessed Yahushua's birth, so on Bikurim,
when these prophets had finished their testimony, Yahushua took them before the
Father as His First Fruits offering, the firstfruits of the resurrection of the
dead as Rabbi Shaul put it in Romans. That brings us to the 3rd point of our
discussion.

(3) Ron Wyatt's discovery brings a new dimension to the understanding of what
transpired on Bikurim, because it gives insight into the specifics of what those
prophets were testifying about to the priests and the people in Yerushalayim on
Bikurim. You see, when the graves were being opened during that great earthquake
at Yahushua's death, the blood of the Lamb was beginning to flow down the rift in
the rock to the left of the cross, down into the chamber where the Ark of the
Covenant had been placed some 6 centuries before to make atonement to redeem the
land and the people of Yahuah. This is no doubt what Yahushua showed those
prophets and what they were prophesying about to the priests and people in
Yerushalayim, which was just a Shabbath journey away. That brings us to our
conclusion.

In conclusion, Ron Wyatt's discovery, HaMashiach's first Act of Duty as Cohen


Gadol, and the actual day of Yahushua's resurrection, give us plenty of food for
thought about just how Yahushua fulfilled the appointed time of Bikurim. Many of
the priests prophesied to by the risen prophets regarding the blood on the Ark
were no doubt among the 500 priests He showed Himself alive to before His
ascension and were probably present among the 3,000 miqvaed on the up and coming
Shavuoth. Miriam was not allowed to touch Yahushua, because He had not yet been to
the Father to offer the First Fruits of the Resurrection before the Father, but
later, when He appeared before the apostles and told Thomas to touch Him, he had
already performed the Bikurim offering. The fact that Yahushua arose on Shabbath,
not on Bikurim, is a further testimony that Yahushua did not come to destroy the
Torah by changing Shabbath as the paid false prophets would have us believe by
their tradition which nullifies the Torah. I hope this gives you something to pray
about and that you find it worth your consideration.The third of the appointed set
apart times fulfiiled by a Messianic event, to my thinking, is Bikarim or First

Part 4 of 7: Shavuot and The First Miqvah in Ruach HaQodesh

Welcome to part 4 of a 7 part series on the appointed times of Yahuah and their
Messianic fulfillments; Shavuot and Acts Chapter 2. I believe that the moedim
(appointed times of Yah) follow the pattern of creation week where the 4th of the
7 moedim is semantically linked to the 1st appointed time, just as the 4th day of
creation is semantically linked with the 1st day. Another similar pattern of seven
sevens as seen from Bikurim to Shavuot is magnified by the 7 sabbaticals an a year
in the counting of the Jubilee year. Ron Wyatt's discovery of the Ark of the
Covenant adds depth to the understanding of Shavuoth as fulfilled when Yahushuah
miqvaed His followers in the Ruach HaQodesh. I would like to discuss these three
subtopics in a bit more detail: (1) The 7 patter; (2) the 7 x 7 + 1 pattern; & (3)
Ron Wyatt's discoveries.

(1) I believe that the moedim follow the pattern of the days of creation where 1
semantically matches 4, 2 semantically matches 5, and 3 semantically matches 6,
but 7 has no semantic match within the creation week or moedim as fuflilled by
Yahushua; here we are discussing the 1st semantically matching the 1st in the
pattern. The semantic content of day 4 focuses on the light holders (sun, moon, &
stars) semantically follows the content of day 1 of creation which focuses on
light; in parallel fashion, the 4th moed -- Shavuoth (the feast of Shabbaths) --
semantically follows the first moed --Shabbat HaGadol so you can see
Shabbaths:Shabbath::Lights:Light. Just as the lamb of Yah who is the light of the
world came to fulfill the 1st of 7 moedim, Shabbath HaGadol, now the one light
would become many lights as the Ruach HaQodesh fell on the 120 believers as the
fulfillment of Shavuoth to send them as lights to the world and many would be sent
as sheep to the slaughter to bear witness of the Lamb who is the Light. Our eyes
also fit into this pattern of 7 sense organs with tie-ins to the moedim and days
of creation; with our eyes, we can behold the Lamb who takes away the sins of and
is the Light of the world. That brings us to look at another pattern implied by
Shavuoth.

(2) The 7 x 7 + 1 made plain in the law of Shavuoth is seen; "Until the morrow
after the seventh Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave
offering, you shall count for yourselves: seven complete Sabbaths. Until the
morrow after the 7th Sabbath you count 50 days, then you shall bring a new grain
offering to Yahuah" (Wayikara 23:15,16) We can also see this in the Jubilee year
which is seven Sabbatical years plus one year. There were forty Jubilees from the
creation of Adam to the Aqedah when Yitshak was spared and another 40 jubilees
from that time until the substitional Lamb Yahushua was resurrected in the Spring
of 33 CE. That would make 2033 the becinning of the 7th millennium, possibly the
return of Mashiach. We'll see. That brings us to Ron Wyatt's contribution to all
this.

(3) When found out that Ron Wyatt discovered the Ark of the Covenant in
Yermeyahu's grotto, it started me thinking--what if the prophets whose graves were
opened when Yahushua died and went into Yerushalayim when He rose from the dead,
actually went in to Yerushalayim to testify to the priests that they had seen the
blood of the Mashiach on the Ark of the Covenant? What if they testified to the
priests that later Yahushua appeared to after His death, as Luke reports. What if
the priests who the prophets testified to and Yahushua appeared to were among the
3000 who were miqvaed on Shavuoth after the tongues of fire, the speaking in
tongues, and the preaching of Cepha (Peter)? That would mean that everything was
set up well in advance, during Yermeyahu's time to give the Besorah (good report)
of the Kingdom of Yah to have every possibility of success, despite Shattan's
focused efforts to put out its fire and light. Some of these priests may have even
been among the shepherds who saw the Lamb of Yah when He came into the world. What
if? That brings us to our conclusion.

In conclusion, Ron Wyatt's contribution, the 7 x 7 + 1 pattern, and the


1:4::2:5::3:6::7 pattern should shed some light on Yahushua's fulfillment of
Shavuoth by sending His Spirit to enable His disciples to light up a dark world
and bring in the harvest of souls for the kingdom of Yahuah. Ron's finding of the
Ark of the covenant makes everything seem to fall into place and fills in some of
the gaps that are not generally taught about by those who are unaware of his
finding. The 7 X 7 + 1 pattern as seen in Shavuoth and paralleled in the Jubilee,
gives us insight into the measured thoroughly complete way in which Yahuah
prepares everything to accomplish HIs eternal purpose to dwell with His people for
eternity. Then the pattern of Creation day where 1 is to 4 as 2 is to 5 as 3 is to
6 and 7 is set apart has an affinity, not only has an affinity with the 7 moedim,
but also the 7 special sense organs and the 7 lamps of the Menorah. This all works
together in understanding how Yahuah set everything in motion to fulfill the feast
of Shavuot by the event that occurred in Acts chapter 2.

Part 5 of 7: Yom Teruah and the 2nd Coming of Mashiach

Welcome to my discussion on The Appointed Times of Yahuah and Their Messianic


Fulfillments: Part 5 of 7 -- Yom Teruah, or the Day of The Sounding of the
Trumpets. I remember as if it were yesterday my conversation with my Father when
he told me of a minister he had recently spoken with that didn't believe in either
a pre-tribulationor mid-tribulation rapture doctrine, and I scoffed saying that no
one would ever convince me of anything other than pre-trib rapture; within a week
I was reading "Great Prophecies of the Bible" by Ralph Woodrow, and I ended up
eating crow. However, that was a good thing, because the second coming of the
Messiah fits the Messianic pattern I proposed in my last discussion, I believe,
better than the Day of Trumpets/Pre-Trib Secret Rapture as set forth in Zola
Levitt's model of "the 7 Feasts" of Yisra'el. I am also fascinated with the fact
that Yom Teruah begins the 10 days of teshuvim (roughly translated repentance) or
the 10 Days of Awe which I believe indicates two very interesting parallels, which
I will relate in the 3rd part of my discussion . Now I would like to discuss these
3 subtopics in a little more detail: (1) Ralph Woodrow; (2) The Messianic Pattern
of 7; (3) Yom Teruah and the 10 Awesome Days.

(1) Ralph Woodrow, in his book "Great Prophecies of the Bible", points out that it
wasn't until 1830 that Edward Irving's Journal began teaching a 2-stage 2nd
Coming, despite the fact that all of the early "church fathers beginning with
Justin Martyr in the second century to Cyril in the fourth century believed that
the believers in Messiah would suffer under the hand of the anti-messiah. None of
these men believed in a 2 stage 2nd Coming of Messiah: John Wyclif, John Huss,
Martin Luther, Philipp Melanchthon, Huldreich Zwingli, William Tyndale, Nicholas
Ridley, Hugh Latimer, John Foxe, Edwin Sandys, John Calvin, John knox, King James,
Isaac Newton, Thomas Newton, John Wesley. I believe that the strongest argument
that swayed me away from the 2 stage 2nd coming theory Is the argument that comes
from Revelation 20:4-6 where we see that the tribulation martyrs will take part of
the first resurrection; if the rapture/resurrection took place before the
tribulation, the rapture would have been the first resurrection and would have
pre-cluded the tribulation belevers beheaded by the anti-Messiah (Woodrow, 1989,
p. 11). Also, the whole idea of Yahushuah coming with the sound of the trumpet
kind of does away with the notion of Yahushuah coming "as a thief in the night" to
rapture believers. That brings us to the second part of our discussion.
(2) The Messianic pattern of 7 is seen in the creation week where the work of day
2, about air and water is continued on day 5 with the birds in the air and the
marine life in the water; this is paralleled by the 2nd appointed time, Passover,
as fulfilled by the slaughter of the Lamb of Yah, a work which is continued by the
5th appointed time, Yom Teruah, where Yahushua comes with the sound of the
Trumpet. As in day 2, the air separated the water in preparation for the
habitation of birds and fish on day 5, so in the 2nd of the appointed times, the
rocks were split so the blood of Yahushuah could fall on the lid of the Ark of the
Covenant in preparation for the 144,000 to witness just prior to and in
preparation of the 2nd Coming when He will ransom those that He had bought with
His own blood, by resurrecting them at the sound of the trumpet. I call days 2 and
5 the metaphorical "ears" of creation week; so then, it follows that the 2nd and
5th of the appointed times of Yahuah are the metaphorical "ears" of the moedim.
The sound of the birds and great leviathans of the sea trumpeted the praise of
Yahuah on day 5 and pointed to an appointed time when at the Teruah of the
Shofarim, the Messiah would come to rule and reign for a thousand years; just as
Yom Teruah began on the first day of the 7th month, the 2nd coming of the Messiah
will begin the 7th Millennium, the 40th Jubilee after the poring of Messiah's
blood on the Ark of the Covenant. That brings us to the third point of my
discussion.

(3) Yom Teruah, or the Day of Sounding (of the Trumpets) begins the 10 Days of Awe
(or Teshuvim). It is interesting to note that the Greek Orthodox Church marks
August 29 as the birthdate of Yahuchanan the Immersion witness, and this falls
very close to Yom Teruah from time to time and 6 months before Shabbat HaGadol
before Pesach which I believe to be the birth date of Messiah in 6 B.C, the Pesach
Lamb of Yahuah. For those who would make the parallel between the beginning of the
Hebrew day at evening to the evening of the year being the fall or autumn of the
year, I would say that, in my view, Yahuchanan was born in the metaphorical
"evening" of the year, and Yahushua was more the following metaphorical "morning"
of the year; not as some would say, Yahuchanan born in the metaphorical "morning"
of the year and Yahushuah born the next metaphorical "evening" of the year. Also,
it is interesting to note that there are 100 Teruah of the Shofarim every day
during the 10 days of Awe which I count as 1 year per sound of the Trumpet, making
1000 years. Thus, Yom Teruah begins the Millennium of the rule and reign of the
Messiah in my point of view. Yom Teruah was never meant to be the beginning of the
Hebrew year, or Rash HaShannah, (a doctrine of men) but it was meant as the
beginning of the Messianic reign, to my point of view. That brings us to my
conclusion.

In conclusion, we have looked at the beginning of the 10 days of Awe or repentance


which shows Yahuchanan's message, fitting the Messianic pattern of seven, and
Ralph Woodrow's debunking of the pre-trib rapture theory as they relate to the 5th
of seven appointed times of Yahuah. It begins the 10 days of Awe with 100
Soundings of the Shofar each day for 10 days paralleling the Millennial reign of
Yahushua. It fits the Messianic Pattern in the 5th place of the seven appointed
times of Yahuah. It is one event, not a two stage event. Such is my discussion of
Yom Teruah as fulfilled by the 2nd Coming of the Mashiach with the sound of the
trumpet.

Part 6 of 7: Yom Kippur and The Great White Throne Judgment

I do not, in any way wish to cast any dispersions on Michael Rood's very excellent
presentation on how he believes that the Messianic fulfillment of Yom Kippur (The
Day of Atonement) will occur 10 days after Yahushua returns to set up the
Millennial kingdom when He reveals the Ark of the Covenant and the "kippur"
(covering or lid) where His blood had been shed; I do believe this will happen,
but I do not believe it to be the ultimate fulfillment or the appointed time
called Yom Kippur, but rather, the Great White Throne Judgement. I want to compare
and contrast my view with that of Michael Rood where it is 10 days into the
Millennium. I also want to compare and contrast my view with that of Zola Leavitt.
Then I want to share how I came to view The Great White Throne Judgment as the
ultimate Messianic fulfillment of Yom Kippur. This is the order in which I will
discuss Yom Kippur and the Great White Throne Judgment: (1) Michael Rood's view;
(2) Zola Leavitt's view; and (3) My view.

(1) Whereas some are saying that Michael is just another paid false prophet, I
feel that he is a human that can make human being mistakes, but is doing the best
he can with the light he is given, which in my view is pretty bright. I like His
view that Yahushua will reveal His blood on the Ark of the Covenant on Yom Kippur
(The Day of Atonement) on the 10th day of the 7th month in the 1st year of the 7th
Millennium, and I do not dispute that. in fact, I think that this view is cool,
and awesome, and it makes a lot of sense. I believe Michael Rood should be
commended for this. What I take exception with is the notion that this event is
the ultimate Messianic fulfillment of Yom Kippur. That brings me to Zola Leavitt's
view.

(2) Although it was Zola that captured my interest in the whole subject of the 7
"Holidays" that the Messiah did fulfill as opposed to those He didn't (Christmas,
Easter, etc.), I have come to veer off from just how the Messiah fulfilled those
appointed times, and this is one of them. Whereas Zola taught, and I respect his
view, that Yom Kippur is fulfilled by the event of the 2nd Coming when "they will
look upon Him whom they have pierced and will mourn as for an only child". This
verse, to my thinking, fits Michael Rood's view of an event that occurs 10 days
into the 7th Millennium. You see, Zola taught that Yom Teruah (Day of the
Sounding, literally) was fulfilled by the rapture of the church and that Yom
Kippur was fulfilled 7 years later by the "Feast of Trumpets". Although I once
held Zola's view entirely, I now hold with Michael Rood, Ralph Woodrow, and many
others that there is no 2 stage rapture/second coming taught and Scripture and I
know that Yom Teruah is not a feast, but rather an appointed time. That brings the
discussion around to my view.

(3) In my view, to find the "ultimate" or last fulfillment of Yom Kippur, you need
to start at the back of the Scriptures and come forward from there to see that the
last Messianic fulfillment of this set apart time is in Revelation 20:12 where we
see that the books were opened, the book of life, and the other books (notice the
plural, not singular form), and whosoever was not found written in the book of
life was cast into the lake of fire. I searched this out, prayed, and did a lot of
research and discovered that it is taught in the synagogue that at the 10th of the
10 days of Teshuvim (roughly translated, repentence) called Yom Kippur, the book
of life and the other books (the intermediate book and the book of death) are
opened and if your name is in the intermediate book, your 10 day window of
opportunity to repent and get your name written in the book of life is closed. If
your "repentence" wasn't sufficient, so it is taught in the synagogue, your name
is written in the book of death. To me, the parallel here is unmistakeable, and I
believe Yahuchanan the Emmisery was aware of this teaching when he wrote about the
Great White Throne Judgment in Revelation 20, which leads me to believe that Yom
Kippur, The Day of Atonement and 6th of 7 appointed times of Yahuah, is fulfilled
by the Great White Throne Judgment. So far as the Messianic pattern is concerned,
I believe that the 6th appointed time continues from the 3rd, as the work of the
6th day of creation continues from the work of the 3rd day of creation. This leads
us to my conclusion.

In conclusion, as much as I esteem Zola Leavitt and Michael Rood and respect their
views concerning the Messianic fulfillment of Yom Kippur, my view of this has come
to veer from them as I tried to search out the Scripture and tried to fit the
Messianic pattern. Zola Leavitt taught that Yom Kippur is to be fulfilled by the
2nd Coming of Mashiach. Michael Rood teaches that the ultimate fulfillment of Yom
Kippur is an event of the revealing of the Ark of the Covenant 10 days after the
beginning of the Millennium. I teach that Yom Kippur is fulfilled by the Great
White Throne Judgment. And that is my topic: the appointed times of Yahuah and
their Messianic fulfillments: part 6 of 7, Yom Kippur and the Great White Throne
Judgment.

Part 7 of 7: Sukkot and Our Entering Into His Rest in the New Yerushalayim

Let me repeat the statement I made at the very beginning of the first part of this
series; whereas most Messianic scholars teach the appointed times of Yahuah and
their Messianic fulfillments beginning with Pesach as fulfilled by the slaughter
of the Messiah, and end with Sukkot as fulfilled by the birth of Mashiach, I like
to begin with Shabbat (HaGadol) before Pesach as fulfilling Mashiach's birth and
end with the Feast of Sukkot, the 7th of 7 appointed times, as fulfilled by our
entering into His rest in the New Yerushalayim (the New Jerusalem). For one thing,
this fits the Messianic Pattern of 7 as seen in creation week. For another thing,
some people make a good point about being able to "count to 3" with regard to the
timing of the death and resurrection of the Messiah, but cannot handle Messiah
being born before, not he dies. For yet another thing, Sukkot fits the Pattern of
entrance into the New Yerushalayim better than it fits the Millennial reign that
many very good Messianic scholars teach. Let's rehash these 3 points in a little
more detail: (1) The Messianic Pattern of 7; (2) the most obvious sequence of
events; and (3) Sukkot as related to the entrance into His rest, vs. the
Millennial reign.

(1) First, let me take up the matter of how sukkot as fulfilled by the entrance
into the New Yerushalim fits the Messianic Pattern I have been discussing all
along. Just as Yahuah worked 6 days where the work of day 1 was continued on day
4, 2 on 5, and 3 on 6 followed by rest on the 7th, He worked through the Mashiach
Yahushua at 6 appointed times where the work of the first appointed time was
continued on the 4th, the 2nd on the 5th, and the 3rd on the 6th, leading up to
our entering into His rest (the New Yerushalayim) on the 7th. You can illustrate
this complete pattern with the lamps of the Menorah and the 7 special sense organs
where the middle lamp of the right side of the Menorah represents day/sense
organ(eye)/appointed time 1 which is continued by the middle lamp on the left side
of the Menorah represents /day/sense organ(eye)/appointed time 4 through the
semantic tie of sight; so also the outer lamp on the right side of the Menorah
represents day/sense organ(ear)/appointed time 2 which is continued by the middle
lamp on the left side of the Menorah which represents day/sense
organ(ear)/appointed time number 5 through the semantic tie of sound; then it
follows that the inner lamp of the right side of the Menorah represents day/sense
organ(nostril)/appointed time 3 which is continued by the middle lamp on the left
side of the Menorah representing /day/sense organ(nostril)/appointed time 6
through the semantic tie of breathing/smell and the center lamp is represented by
day/sense organ (tongue)/appointed time 7 which is set apart from the other 6
through the semantic tie of of the sweet taste of rest after the accomplishment of
the goal. This makes a way to see that lamps/days/special sense organs/appointed
times 1, 2, and 3 neatly fall into one subset of the set as a whole, 4, 5, and 6
into a 2nd subset of the set as a whole, and 7 is set apart into its own 3rd
subset of the set as a whole and they are all intricately linked together in one
awesome, fascinating, brilliant pattern. That brings us to the 2nd point of this
discussion.

(2) Now that we've looked at Sukkot and the New Yerushalayim fitting into this
awesome, fascinating intricate and complicated pattern woven into the framework of
Scripture for those that demand minute details, we can now turn to the most
obvious sequence of events. Some people can count to 3 when it comes to 3 days and
3 nights in the bowels of the earth, but when it comes to the appointed times of
the Messiah, they lose the ability to count in the most obvious sequence being
distracted by Flavius Josephus and an obscure interpretation of the course of
Abiyahu in the besorah of Luke and the timing of the conception and birth of
Yahuchanan the Immersion witness, to which I would answer that even if this is all
true, Zecharyah could have been selected at the Feast of Dedication, because all
priests may have been there at that time. Still, I'll let you compare, contrast,
and decide for yourself

Would you rather think that the Messianic fulfillments of the 7 appointed times
begin with His birth and end with our entering the New Yerushalayim or beginning
with His death and ending with His first natural (as opposed to spiritual) birth?
This isn't rocket science here. It seems to me that the sequence of events is as
obvious as the special sense organs in your face. That brings us to the 3rd point
of this discussion.

(3) Many Messianic scholars hold that the Feast of Sukkot is fulfilled, not only
by His birth, but also by His Millennial reign, but I believe that our entrance
into the New Yerushalayim is a better fit, not only because of the overall pattern
of the 7 lamps of the Menorah when tied to the 7 days of creation, 7 special sense
organs and 7 appointed times of Yahuah, and not only because of the very extremely
obvious order of sequencial Messianic events, but because of the way it all fits
together when you acknowledge the possibility of the 10 days of Awe and the 100
teruah (soundings) of the trumpet each day adding up to 1000 and each sounding of
the Trumpet signifying a new year, counting out 1000 years or the Millennium, as
seen in discussions 5 and 6. This forces Yom Teruah (the 5th appointed time) and
Yom Kippur (the 6th appointed time) to opposite ends of the Millennium and makes
the 7th appointed time a rest at the accomplishment of the goal to be the bride of
the Lamb entering into the New Yerushalayim. When I go from Zola Leavitt's view to
Michael Rood's view to my view, it's kind of like when a chiropractor puts my back
in line when some of the discs aren't quite lining up like they should. At first
it almost hurts, but then there is the sigh of relief when everything is in order
and all our ducks are in a row. There's an Aha, and a light bulb goes on, and you
wonder why you never saw that before. At least that's my experience, as I once
lined up with Zola Leavitt, then independently of Michael Rood began to line up
more like his view, and finally began to see things my way (the Robert Burden
view). That brings us to the concluding remarks and the end of this series.

In conclusion, after seeing the 7th of 7 appointed times of Yahuah as the event of
entering the New Yerushalayim as opposed to the birth and then Millennial reign of
our Sovereign Yahushua, appreciating a more obvious sequence before that, and
having looked at how the Feast of Sukkot and the New Yerushalayim fit into an
awesome, fascinating, and brilliant pattern before that, I believe there is
sufficient material to support the thesis of my view. When I look at the last 2
chapters of Revelation and see that as the New Yerushalayim comes down from heaven
and read the declaration, "The Sukkot of Elohim is with man", I see the ultimate
goal of Yahuah in all of Scripture being fulfilled, and then back up to Chapter 19
as beginning with the ultimate messianic fulfillment of Yom Teruah at the
beginning of the chapter and fulfilling Yom Kippur at the end of chapter 20 and
1000 years in between it just seems to all fall into place like a spinal column
adjustment. I'd rather see the obvious sequence of 1-birth, 2-death/burial, 3-
Messianic presentation of resurrected first fruits before the Father; 4-believers
equipped with power to testify of the Besorah, 5 2nd Coming, 6-Great White Throne
Judgment; 7-entering into the New Yerushalayim, than either of the other two views
I presented earlier. I also like it when every thing fits into "the pattern of the
grand design" as we looked at earlier in the Messianic pattern of 7. This is why I
believe that the Feast of Sukkot, the 7th of the 7 appointed times of Yahuah, is
fulfilled by the entering into His rest as we enter the New Yerushalayim which is
adorned as a bride for her husband, so, as Ian Malcolm in Jurassic park would say,
"There you have it."
