Introduction What does creating value means? Concept exploration Example Conclusion References
Introduction:
Contributor:
A person or thing that contributes something. A contributor is someone who contributes to the group on a regular and large scale basis.
Non-contributor:
Non-contributor is someone who always thinking about them self.
Non-Contributors Perception: Focusing on value means taking on authoritative roles like position or policeman to make a difference in society.
Non-contributor: o Non-contributors focus on the attributes of a product or a service. o This new cell phone is bigger and fancy than my previous one.
Example:
i.
Mr. Kamlesh Patel is physically handicapped with Polio on both the legs since his childhood. But his strong willpower bring him in front of the world with his "Amazing Dance Art" which is "Dance on Hands. Despite his weakness, Kamlesh did not lose all hope. He recognized the value of acting positively in the situation and contributing in the best way he could to motivate the society.
ii.
Thomas Edison: In December 1914, when Thomas Edison old was 67, his laboratory was virtually
destroyed by fire. Much of his work went up in flames that night On reaching the site, Edisons 24 year son Charles was appalled at the sight destruction..Oh God, a lifetimes work is destroyed. Father would be devastated. At his age, this loss However, Charles found Edison, calmly watching the scene, his face glowing in the reflection. Next morning, looking at the ruins Edison Edison said: There is great value in disaster. All our mistakes are burned up. Thank God we can start afresh. Three weeks after the fire, delivered his first phonograph.
iii.
Swami Vivekananda:
Even with the awakening of knowledge, the potter will remain a potter, the fisherman a fisherman, the peasant a peasant. Why should they leave their hereditary calling? Dont give up the work to which you were born, even if it be attended with defects.
If they are taught in this way, why should they give up their respective callings? Rather they will apply their knowledge to the better performance of the work to which they have been born.
Doing is very good, but that comes from thinking. Little manifestations of energy through the muscles are called work. But where there is no thought, there will be no work. Fill the brain, therefore, with high thoughts, highest ideals, place them day and night before you, and out of that will come great work.
iv.
Sachin Tendulkar:
The name itself strikes terror in the hearts of bowlers and captains all around the world. The Star of Indian Cricket, more like a GOD in India, he is the best player ever gifted to the game of Cricket and should be chosen as the sport personality of the year. He possesses all the strokes in the book and is probably the best cutter and straight driver of the ball today.
Conclusion:
Contributing person was extremely on result-oriented. He expected that individuals do not merely work, but work in order to achieve results and create value for themselves and society. Growth has no limit for us. We keep revising our visions. Only when our dream it we can do it. We have to believe on our dreams and we lived our dreams.
