Whats my role in protecting human rights?

Once upon a time there was a man who wondered freely across the world searching for useful pieces of knowledge he could use to create a moral code.In order to do so, he needed to note some rights that would never, under any circumstances, be denied or unrecognised.He set himself to achieve this goal because of the abuses and in ustices he saw everyday. !nd so began his ma estic ourney, his "uest for rightfulness and for better conditions of life for everyone. He crossed # seas and # mountains in $ days and in the seventh day he arrived in a forrest sittuated on both sides of a river.%here while he was drinking water, he saw a rabbit struggling in the claws of an eagle.%he poor thing had its faith sealed. !fter a moment of udging what he saw, our hero stated& 'In order to be free,people must have the right to live and that right must not be ignored.%he one who kills should be sent in e(ile for his deed in order to serve as an e(ample for other possible individuals tempted by this type of misdeed.) %his being said,he went on and passed # rivers and # forrests until he encountered a small village.%here you could see a big discrepancy between two social cathegories.One of these cathegories used the other ones in order to easen their labour or even in order to have them do their work.If the later mentioned wouldnt obey the commands or fail to accomplish them they were punished savagely and tortured inhumanly . Here our traveler stated that a human being must not be be sub ected to torture, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment and should have the right to be free from slavery and forced labour,in fact they should have the right to liberty. !nd so our hero continued to state rights ,continuously improving his list until the time had come when his days had passed him leaving him at a very old age. One day,while he was gla*ing at the sky ,an idea passed through his mind. In fact,what was his role in protecting human rights? His entire life he consented a code of laws that were meant to improve human life conditions.+ut not once had he thought of trying to apply them, to make them known, to impose them. ,eaching this conclusion ,he couldnt help but think& what should he have done? What was his response? He should have made everyone he could talk to aware of our rights as human beings and furthermore,he should have given an e(ample e(erciting these rights for his own benefit defending them whenever anyone would opose these conditions for well-being. Is his respose sufficent and correct? %ime and evolution tracking should be the udges of this.
