Applicator Optimal planning and sizing


The first steps are always the most important when it comes to planning metering points. An optimally dimensioned flowmeter at the right location provides many advantages: Consistent process quality Diminished risk of instrument failure at a later time Product savings due to error-free, precise measurement Proven since more than 20 years Applicator is a software for selecting and specifing flowmeters that has proven its abilities over many years. A wealth of industry experience and specialized know-how is embedded in Applicator. It enables people with limited technical knowledge to specify metering points quickly and easily, without timeconsuming research. The most recent version of Applicator has a raft of new functions, including selection functions for all the other areas covered by Endress+Hauser namely level, pressure, temperature, liquid analysis, etc. Youll find that it opens up an enormous range of application possibilities in metrology and control.

W@M Life cycle management from Endress+Hauser is an open information system which provides technical and operative management with complete

data flow and archival from commissioning on through to maintenance and service within a plant, at any time or location. This is attained within an open

Just enter the type of fluid, requisite process data or metering point attributes and Applicator already displays the measuring principles and families of meters best suited to the case in hand.

Sizing safe specification By entering further application-specific values, such as process pressure, process temperature or measuring range, Applicator immediately determines the ideal flowmeter type and along with the suitable nominal diameter, working range, pressure loss, accuracy, material loads, conformity with the Pressure Equipment Directives (PED) or corrosion resistance. Messages and warnings make it easy to select the right meter, help avoid common mistakes, and enable optimization of the measuring point to suit specific requirements.
