The Link Bearing Maintenance

This course outline will guide you through a complete course in bearing maintenance using the DAC Bearing Maintenance Trainer, #204. To receive maximum value from the course, all identified readings in the IPT Industrial Trades Training Manual must be completed and all hands-on exercises must be performed diligently, from start to finish. Once all performance steps have been completed you will have gained the knowledge and experience necessary to complete an associated performance test. Should any questions arise while performing any exercise, contact your course administrator for additional information.

Review the DAC #204 Bearing Maintenance Trainer Use Guide. Check the list of supplied components to be sure that all components and tools are available for use. Review the list of Accessories and Options and check to see that all items necessary for completing standard exercises are available for use. Locate the Bearing Trainer Shaft/Bearing Locations Drawing, #D204-A01. Locate the Bearing and Location Table #D204-A02. Locate the Basic Bearing Trainer Assembly Drawing, #D204-A03. Locate the Extended Bearing Trainer Assembly Drawing, #D204-A04. Read pages 162-164, in the Industrial Trades Training Manual.
