Circle Time Review
This week during circle time we are going to learn new songs one new one ! ho"e students will like #fi$e monkeys swinging on a tree% & and students will ha$ing fun 'acting out( the song & wearing the monkey and alligator masks. Worksheets; )atch the four animals to their shadow. *tudents will +e "retaught these four animals. #,ount the animals% students ha$e to write the num+er of each animal shown on the "age in the +o-. *tudents will then colour in and a few of the +est will go u" on the wall and the 'student s"otlight( +oard.

Activity Time

New vocabulary: dol"hin turtle octo"us fish seahorse and shark. Sentence Structures: #.here does / a fish0a shark / li$e1% #!t li$es in the/ sea%. New songs; #*li""ery fish% .e are going to s"end one acti$ity lesson learning the $oca+ulary. *tudents will already know a few of the $oca+ulary words such as 'turtle( and 'shark( & so learning the others shouldn(t +e too difficult. .e will incor"orate sea animal flashcards and also toy $ersions of the animals into our lesson and then "lay a num+er of games & such as fly swat and musical chairs 2along to the new songs listened to during circle time3. ames!activities; .e will ha$e a fun arts and crafts lesson this week & making octo"uses4 These will +e made from toilet rolls and then ho"efully "ainted and decorated +y the end of the week. They will +e showcased outside our classroom to show e$eryone. The final acti$ity of the week will +e to make s"ecial hand-"rint cra+s.

Phonics
Review
This week we are going to re$iew the new word families and also "ractice +lending 3 letter words. .e will drill saying words in the different word families & ! will first introduce the word then show them a "icture of it. .e are also going to continue re$iewing letter sounds 6-7 "laying $arious games such as musical chairs al"ha+et sou" and circle games.

5ew words will +e introduced e$ery week. Their meaning will not +e new as ! will show them the "icture it(s linked to and it will +e something they can already say.

This week we are going to continue working in our "honics acti$ity +ooks. The num+er of "ages we com"lete de"ends how fast the students work.
