I Caught Sight of

My lovely brothers, I imagine where I was six years ago, leaving a school and the people I cared about at CKC Onitsha, crying on the stage as I bid my final goodbyes to all my teachers and my schoolmates. This gloomy mood is re activated today. !eflecting on all the good times we have shared together, it becomes extremely difficult for me to say goodbye and leave or say goodbye and have people leave me. This is tough for me as all of you here are extremely special to me. "ou, my brothers too# M$ under your wings as soon as I came here and assiduously cared for me. I appreciated every moment that you invited me into your world. Moreover, I am speechless when I thin# of all I have learnt from you. "ou taught me that every single person can be a leader. %one of you has told me this outrightly, but you showed it in your actions everyday. The #indness wall and display of s#ills by you not only inspired me, but spurred me into wor#ing on myself. "ou taught me to be willing to ta#e reasonable ris#s. "ou have taught me that a pat on the bac# is always better than a slap on the wrist. "our #indness towards others is always on display. Than# you for being role models of #indness and caring and because of this, you have become a beacon of light on mount &ion. It did not stop here. "ou taught me to be myself. The way you dressed and carried yourselves was never about others, but always about you and you alone. 'rothers, you guys are uni(ue. )r. Kentenich urges us that each one of us must be original, you have shown me this over and over again. These lessons you have taught me* being a leader, be willing to ta#e ris#s, be #ind, and be yourself, are lessons that I will continue to do my best to apply in my own career, on the other side of the world. )or all of you, I strongly believe that these lessons have led you to your tremendous success in your philosophical studies. If you continue to follow these steps, they will lead you to your dreams in this life. +r. I will miss your courage and wonderful initiatives that changed things. I carry you in my heart wherever I go, you have made an integral part of my life history. I appreciate your presence around me.
