Three bands from England, Scotland and the US! Harman is the hottest new vocalist on the UK blues scene. She packs out everywhere she goes: intimate ballads, driving blues rock, and plenty soul. Tim Elliott's impassioned vocal and harmonica will be in duet with Sandy Tweeddale's blues guitar mastery. Closing the night is the high energy, award winning Texas guitarist, singer and harp player, Hamilton Loomis with his brilliant American band.

THE BIG CHRIS BARBER BAND

Trombonist, Chris Barber has been the most important figure in the British traditional jazz scene for over 50 years. His current band sets the benchmark for quality in classic jazz, featuring a host of star names. They play a wide ranging repertoire from New Orleans hits like "When The Saints Come Marching In" to Duke Ellington classics. A very rare chance to hear a jazz master with an absolutely top class band.

HAVANA SWING & ROSE ROOM

Double helping of music inspired by the Hot Club of Paris, Havana Swing play happy, jaunty, feelgood jazz executed with great panache (The Herald). Opening the show, Rose Room blend gypsy jazz with1930s swing and are fronted by violin virtuoso Seonaid Aitken.

GROOVEYARD WITH MOLLY DUNCAN

Depression-bustin, funky-struttin', classic soul jazz of the 1960s to 70s with the trademark Hammond organ grooves. Malcolm MacFarlanes band features soaring saxophone and fizzing guitar and, for one night only, the dial is cranked up by their guest, original Average White Band saxophonist Molly Duncan.

DARIUS BRUBECK QT & JUDY CARMICHAEL

Darius Brubeck carries the Brubeck flame, playing hits like Blue Rondo A La Turk and Take Five with the great saxophonist, Dave OHiggins in the Paul Desmond role. Brubecks set also features South African jazz, and his own originals. Opening up is the extrovert American piano wizard of classic and stride piano styles, Judy Carmichael.
