Tell the Truth

%ou can do something. Jesus said& '!y this (y )ather is glorified& that you ear much fruit* +John ,-./0. No matter how hum le our station in life& we can influence the lives of others. 1ome ody is hearing the words we speak& and watching how we conduct ourselves. "n eknownst to us& others are watching& and listening. 2eople are so insecure nowadays. There*s so much evil in the world. )or love of money& not principle& the media have e3posed much uncleanliness and hypocrisy within the false church system 4 the fruit of carnal doctrine. "nfortunately& ad news sells& and they have no 5eal to research the Word to discover the faith of Jesus Christ and e3pose man4made traditions which are the root cause of this evil. Conse6uently& their viewers& listeners& and readers tend to identify the virgin invisi le Church& which is the !ody of Christ& and not a uilding or a denomination& with 1atan*s harlot church. 1o it*s up to you. 2eople will only know the true living 7od as they hear and see 8im in your life. Children of 7od& will recogni5e the Life of Christ in you& and ask how they too can possess that security. John Warr was an ,/th4century apprentice shoemaker& who determined to e a faithful witness for Christ. $nother apprentice was hired& and John repeatedly talked to him a out spiritual things. The new worker& however& didn*t want to e othered. Then one day he was caught e3changing a counterfeit shilling for a good one. 9n his guilty humiliation he asked :ohn for help and prayer. Through the faithful witness of John Warr& that man put his faith in Christ& and developed into a committed disciple. The young apprentice was William Carey& who later ecame a remarka ly fruitful missionary to 9ndia. Carey*s life and ministry had a tremendous influence on the cause of worldwide gospel outreach in modern times. Jesus said in John ,-./& #!y this (y )ather is glorified& that you ear much fruit.# This should not e discouraging to Christians who can*t preach& sing& teach& or go to the mission field. They shouldn*t see themselves as in a situation that makes fruitful service impossi le. The Church is a team& a !ody. 9t*s comprised of many different mem ers& each with his own gifts and a ilities. $nd not every one can carry the all at the same time. Take courage from the e3ample of John Warr& whose impact on a co4worker rought glory to 7od& and untold lessing to multitudes of people around the world. $nd it still is. ,

You do'nt have to cross the seas, Nor foreign lands explore, To share God's Word with needy souls - You'll find them at your door. Witness for Christ with your ife as we as your i!s. 2eter said that in the last days there would signs in the heavens a ove. $nd in the earth elow& great things would e taking place& like flying saucers and mystic lights. Jesus commanded 8is church to lift up their heads in that day& and look up& for the unseen Christ will e appearing pretty soon. !ut Christ*s #appearing# is not the physical Coming of Jesus. The (an from 7alilee does not return until after the destruction of all life at $rmageddon& and the saints will all e with 8im. Christ*s appearing is the manifestation of the Word. Jesus said& 'these things shall you do also*; 1o if we only walked y sight& we*d e children of darkness. 9*m so glad to know there*s a Light that shines in every eliever*s heart unto the day of their physical redemption. The wise men were watching that heavenly Light. The prophet said& 'There shall come a star out of Jaco *. $nd they followed 9t to Christ. They said& #When we get to Jerusalem& church head6uarters will tell us all a out this mystic& 8eavenly Light that*s leading us. !ut church head6uarters knew nothing of 9t. This 1tar& this mystic light passed over all the o servatories for two years. They even kept time y the stars& the four watches. No historian wrote of it. No one knew anything a out 9t. %et 9t was there. $nd these wise man& with their gifts& followed 9t half way around the world. (ay that same Light come into every heart listening to this program today. %ou know that Light has appeared today. (any times& in doors& out of doors 4 around the world. The disciples were told& 'This same Jesus& which is taken up from you into heaven in a cloud& shall so come in like manner*. 9n (atthew <= Jesus said this would e the 1ign of 8is parousia. 8is arrival and su se6uent presence. 9t was manifested a ove Tucson on )e ruary </& ,>?@ as a huge rain ow4 colored Cloud <? miles high& and @A miles across. 9t looked like the head of Christ wigged as a Judge& looking down upon the earth. 9t was prophesied months efore it happened how it would look like a triangle. The (ay ,B& ,>?@ issue of L9)E (aga5ine carried a photographic article. Earlier 9t had een photographed in 8ouston& like a halo& a ove !rother !ranham*s head. 9t*s the same 1ign We imagine 8eaven is so many illions and illions and illions of light years eyond that& till it*s not even thought of. 8ow would we get ThereC We*ll travel like a thought& it*ll e so fast. 9n a moment& in the twinkling of an eye. 9f you could think of 8eaven& that*s how 6uick you*d e there. $fter 8e was resurrected& Jesus walked right through the walls& through the doors& and stood& and ate oiled fish and honeycom . Einstein scientifically proved that if two o :ects were coming toward each other fast enough& +now they*d really have to e going fast& like a illion miles a second0& ut they could pass through one another& and without distur ing anything. 8allelu:ah& speed; No sooner than life has gone out of this ody& and we*ll e in the 2resence of 7od. We only know time& meters& and kilometers of the three dimensions of this earth ound system. 2eople are going to find out some day& that they*re not seeing a hundred and fifty million years of light spaceD they*re :ust going right around in a circle. %ou*ll find out one of these days& that when you go to heaven& you don*t fly off somewhere else& you*re still right here& in another dimension faster than this. Television proves that. Cow oys are chasing 9ndians right through this roomD the "1 )leet is fighting the Japanese Navy in your room right now. %our television set can capture those light waves and pro:ect them onto a screen. 1o there are other dimensions our mortal senses cannot reach. They are real& and they*re recorded. 9t*s like throwing a pe le into a pond. The splash of displaced water disappears in an instant& ut <

the ripples ear record right around the pond. $nd everything we say& and do& is recorded in another dimension. The veil of flesh is what keeps us out of 8is 2resence. Look& we*re not dead su stanceD we*re alive. 9f this desk had the life in it that*s in my finger& and had an intelligence to move it& the desk could move like my finger moves. We*re not made of tim er and steel. We*re made of cells& and life& and fi erD and there*s a spirit here that controls it all. Just look how fast it has to travel. Look hereD my hand touches that. Now there has to e a negative and a positive reaction. $s soon as my finger touches that& it feels it. 9mmediately it reports to my mind& and my mind says& #That*s cold.# $nd that information goes ack. 1ee how 6uick that isC )aster than a thought& 6uicker than anything. What is itC There*s something alive in there& and the nerve speaks to the mind. 1ee what 9 meanC The nerve touches it& feels it& and tells the mind& #it*s cold.# The mind says it*s cold& ecause it*s felt y the nerve. 9n the first resurrection& the saints will change in the atoms as fast as a thought. Now at the first resurrection& the living will remain& and there*ll e a wakening time for those who*re asleep in Christ. Not those who are asleep in sin. They sleep right on. They won*t wake for another thousand years. !ut the saints who are sleeping in the dust will e awakened first& and these corrupti le odies will put on incorruption in the rapturing grace of the Lord. When they get together& then we which are alive and remain shall e changed. These mortal odies will not see death& ut all of a sudden& there*ll e a sweep over us& and we*ll changed 4 turned ack like $ raham was& from an old man to a young man& from an old woman to a young woman. $nd after awhile you*ll e traveling like a thought& then you*ll see those who*ve already resurrected. Eh& what an hour; Then we*ll e caught up with them to meet the Lord in the air. "on#t ie to one another$ te the truth. (y young friend had :ust told me a huge lie& and 9 wasn*t going to let him get away with it. 8e actually seemed glad when 9 stopped him. 1haken& he confessed to a weakness for lying& and asked for help. What was interesting is how his lie had developed. 9t started with a little e3aggeration. !ut it grew and grew until it culminated in an un elieva le whopper. 9f you have a pro lem with lying& here are four good reasons for changing your ehavior. 7od*s Word commands us not to lie. The ninth Commandment says& '%ou shall not ear false witness against your neigh our*. We find it repeated in the New Testament where 2aul says& 'lie not to one another& seeing you*ve put off the old man with his deeds* +E3odus <A.,?D Leviticus ,>.,,D Colossians @.>0. Lying is often an attempt to cover our feelings of insecurity& ut in the long run it makes us look worse& not etter. Remem er how $ raham& and later 9saac lied& y declaring their wives were their sistersC They sought safety in lies instead of seeking protection in the truth and 7od*s Word +7enesis ,<.,A4<AD <A.,4,/D <?.?4,?0. Lying does not work. 2eople lie to protect themselves or to cover their tracks. The only protection and covering is the lood of Christ. 7od always makes sure the truth comes out. '%our sin will find you out*. '8e that perverts his ways shall e known* +Num ers @<.<@D 2rover s ,A.>0. Lying creates a trap. Ene lie leads to another. We forget what lies we*ve told and to whom we*ve told them. We finally get caught and are em arrassed. When a liar is caught in a trap of his own making& he sometimes ecomes violent like a cornered animal. Jesus said& '%ou are of your father the Fevil& and the lusts of your father you will do. 8e was a murderer from the eginning& and a ode not in the truth& ecause there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie& it comes naturally. for he*s a liar& and the father of lying* +John /.==0. @

E%aggerations and ies are ha&its &orn out of insecurity and fear. Call on the Ene who is the Truth. 8e*ll help you to con6uer that ha it& and ena le you to tell the truth. 9f you always tell the truth& you*ll never e trapped y a lie. $nd remem er& 7od will never less a lie. We know we can stand firm on the promises of 7od without fear& that 8is Word can never fail& and ecause 8e*s infalli le& 7od cannot lie. There was a woman and a man& who sold some property& and sought to make a it of a name for themselves among the congregation& saying they*d given all the proceeds to the Church. They lied a out it. They said& #We sold our ground for so much.# !ut there was a man standing there who was a prophet. 8e said& #Why has the Fevil put it in your heart to lie to the 8oly 7hostC# The shock of eing e3posed killed the man. When his wife 1apphira came in. 8e asked& 'Fid you sell your place for so much*C 1he*d conspired with her hus and& so she said& '%es& for so much*. 1o he told her& 'The feet that uried your hus and are at the door& and shall carry you out*. The condemnation of knowing they were wrong shocked them& till they died on the spot. Just think of that. The 8oly 1pirit said& '%ou lied& and did such and such*. When they saw that discerning 1pirit moving& and telling them all a out themselves& and what they*d done& the critics hushed. ')ear came on all that heard these things*. !ut today& they*re ra5en. When 2eter pointed them out and told them what they*d done. Fown they dropped. (y; Listen to this. Right after the death of $nanias and 1apphira 4 $cts -.,<4,@& '!y the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people. $nd of the rest durst no man :oin himself to them*. 9 elieve it*s the same 8oly 1pirit today. The iggest lie ever told& had a lot of truth in it. $nd the first one& the lie 1atan told Eve was ninety percent Truth. !ut eneath it was a lie that condemned her& and ruined the whole of creation. 9*ve heard men ypass parts of 1cripture to :ustify theology. !ut if this part*s right& that part*s right; %ou have to watch that. 9t*s got to e Truth here& and Truth there& Truth here and Truth there& every it of it the Truth& lining up the same all the way through. We*ve got to put it together and make it fit through the whole !i le. '(et )od#s Word &e true$ and e*ery +an#s word a ie#. Jesus is the Word. 1o 8e only said what was right& and the )ather told 8im what to say. 8e said so in John /.<?& '9 speak to the world those things which 9 have heard of the )ather*. 8e couldn*t lie for 8e was 7od. 'The 1on can do nothing of 8imself ut what 8e sees the )ather do*. 7od was in Christ& reconciling the world to 8imself. 8e said& '9 am the W$%& the TR"T8& and the L9)E*. 8e is the Word. 9n 8im is no darkness& no lie. Let*s watch as 7od vindicates 8im. 7ravitation loses its power. 8is feet egin to come up from the earth. There*s light eneath 8is feet. 8e rises higher and higher& higher and higher. 7ravitation lost its power& :ust as death lost its power. 8e was the center of gravitation. 8e was the creator of gravitation. 8e held gravitation at 8is own command& as 8e held death at 8is own command. #$ll power in heavens and on earth is given unto (y hand. 7o and 9 will go with you. $s the )ather sent (e& so send 9 you.# The )ather that sent 8im& went with 8im& and was in 8im. $nd the same Christ that sends us& comes with us and will e in us unto the end of the world. #$nd the things that 9 do& shall you alsoD even more than this& for 9 go to (y )ather.# The infalli le Words of the living 7od can never fail. They*re 7od*s Words.

9f we*re going to manifest the 1ons of 7od& and have part in the first resurrection& we will not lie& ecause we*ll e one with the Word& Who 'was manifested to take away our sinsD and in 8im is no sin*. Jesus prayed& that we may e one& as 8e and the )ather are one. '9 have no greater :oy than to hear that my children walk in truth*. radioA=/.html
