IMPORTANT: make supercompost every after every HERB RUN : you need a lot of
compost

key note: farming cycles, each plant has a set cycle time in which it will grow
bigger, it will either grow or get diseased
: fruit trees, although they don't take 24hours to grow, only do them once
every 24hours (if they get diseased they lose a cycle)
: I dont plant tree's such as yews or magic or maple, as this guide is
just for effiecent xp, and herblore xp (budget way to farm)
: willow seeds vs maple seeds (willow take 200mins to grow giving 1500 xp,
maple take 280mins to grow giving 3400xp) also maples cost 10times more)
: i spend around 250k a day on seeds, if you do your herb run (ranarr or
snapdragon) around 4-5 a day this will cover the losses.
: grow times will be in brackets (X cycles times X mins per cycle)
: i buy watermelons from g.e to make supercompost, and either pick or buy
50 pineapples daily for the fruit trees
: i only use supercompost on trees,fruit trees and herbs, the rest i buy
compost and use that

that is without doing weekend runs and and leaving out a lot of the extra runs
such as bushes and flowers etc

Herb run: (4 cycles at 20mins each(80mins))

items needed: 2 laws, 4 supercompost, glory or explorer's ring, air staff or

runes, magic secateurs, spade, seed dibbler.

the run:
- teleport to camelot, run to hemenster(near fishing guild), plant the 1st seed
there
- use ectophial, run to herb patch and plant 2nd seed
- use explorers ring or glory and run to patch south of falador, plant the 3rd
seed
- teleport to camelot, run to the catherby patch and plant 4th seed, bank and
refill compost bin

(5th patch optional after my arm's big adventure)

- teleport to trollheim, run down the hill, run west past the trolls the north to
the herb patch

Tree run: (5 cycles at 40mins each if willow(200mins))

items needed: runes(4 laws 1 earth 2 water 1 fire), equip air staff(secateurs not
needed), 1000gp, 5 supercompost, 5 tree saplings (preferabbly willow's), spade.

the run:

- teleport to lumbridge, run around castle, check health and pay farmer to remove
tree (do not have axe in your bag)
- telelport to falador, run north to the gate by taverly, make a left turn and do
same with 2nd tree
- teleport back to falador and do the 3rd tree in the gardens
- teleport to varrok, run north into castle gardens and replant the 4th tree
- then run west and go through spirit tree to tree gnome stronghold, plant the
final tree near the bank

note: pay each farmer 200gp to remove tree (1000gp)

Fruit tree run: (6cycles at 160mins each(960mins))

items needed: fruit tree of choice (i use papayas but curry trees are good value
for money), elf crystal (if started mournings end pt1), 1 law, air staff, glory,
access to spirit tree teleport, spade, 5 supercompst, 50 noted pineapples(if you
plant papayas), axe.

the run:

- use glory and teleport to karamja, run past volcano through gate and run near
docks to 1st tree, replant and pay farmer to look after.

- teleport to edgeville with glory, run to grand exchange and into the spirit
tree, go to tree gnome stronghold, replant the 2nd tree just east, pay farmer to
look after.

- run back to spirit tree and teleport to tree gnome village, run out to gate and
follow gnome, run south west to 3rd patch, replant and pay farmer.

- teleport to cammelot, run to catherby, run past fishing spot and plant 4th fruit
tree, pay the farmer

(5th patch optional after beginning mourning's end pt1)

- use elf crystal to teleport into lletya, run a bit east and replant 5th fruit
tree, pay the farmer

note:after every tree, note the fruit's

THE NEXT FEW RUNS ARE COMPLETELY OPTIONAL AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! (start these
at 70+ farming)

(72 farming)
Special:Calquat tree seed (27k gp and 12k xp!! great value for money) (takes
roughly 21hours to grow)

- teleport to karamja, run past volcano through gate and past house portal, keep
going south east until you reach a small house, patch is right by house.
You can't cut the caluat down, you have to use spade with it.

(70 farming)
Bushes: Poison ivy seed (give around 700xp for barely any gp) (160mins to grow)

4 bush patches around the scapeland:

1: West of champion's guild

2: rimmington
3: south of ardougne (near monastery) quick access fairy ring code ( D-J-P )
4: southwest etceteria (by miscellania) quick access fairy ring cose ( C-I-P )

I recommend doing all of these atleast once a day (700xp per location does add up)

(83 farming)

Special:Spirit tree (only optainable by yourself) (around 19k xp for checking)

- plant one near karamja fruit patch, can make fruit runs quicker if you use it
from g.e to access the tree patch rather than running

(55 farming)

Special: cactus seed

- 560mins to grow so i just plant this once a day, extra 400xp ( patch is in al
kharid)

(26 farming)

Flower:limpwurt seeds

- limpwurt if you want some extra money, this run can be done in conjunction with
your herb runs.

(around 600xp per trip, well worth the effort)

Adding these all up ( yes i will do the hard work for u :)

herb run total xp: ( avg 6 herbs per seed:500xp per snap seed or 180xp from
ranarr, total of 2-3k xp per herb run)

fruit tree run total: ( 4 papaya seeds will give you 25k xp, and 5 papaya seeds
32k xp per day) ( curry is around 12k xp a day )

willow tree run (5 seeds will give you 7500xp per 200mins, i do around 15 willow
trees a day (3 runs) , averaging 15-20kxp a day (leaving room for dead trees)
- i don't bother paying for willow trees to be looked after

bush run total : i do these 2-3 times a day ( 4 seeds at 750 xp, giving around 3k
xp a run, possible 9-12k a day xp )

flower run total : i do limpwurt, i plant the same amount of these as herb seeds,
200xp per seed and sometimes 20 a day( possible 4k xp a day)

calquat once a day: 12k xp at the max of 1 a day

spirit tree : hard to obtain but thats 20k xp ( im not going to add this to daily
xp)

cactus tree : 400xp a day

note for herblore:

if you do snapdragon seeds, if you do 5 herb runs a day you can do 20seeds,
averaging about 110 snapdragons, thats around 15-20k herblore xp a day.
(free herblore xp, and still a bit of profit)

- total xp for all above runs : 81,000 xp a day

- total xp for all runs + lucky spirit tree drop : 101,000 farming xp

- herblore xp with snapdragon seeds: 15,000 - 22,000 xp a day

- with this method you can have 99 farming in around 5-6mnths

- total cost to 99: 25,000,000 gp +- , 1/3 the price as doing tree seeds ( you
make most this back doing ranarr or snap seeds)

note: the 30m to 99 is with doing papaya tree seeds, i would recommend these over
curry tree as you save a lot of time, with curry trees it's about 5m to 99 but
takes a lot longer

there you go, this to me is the most cost effective way to obtain 99 farming, its
cheap and effective,
i tried to get the most amount of xp for the least amount of money, 80,000 xp a
day is extremely good for under 300k,
planting yew trees and magic trees to obtain 80,000 xp will cost you 800k for yew
trees and 1000k for magic trees
