This timetable shows the full service between

Bristol Temple Meads and Severn Beach.

Travelling through Reading?

The major reconstruction of Reading station by our
industry partners Network Rail continues throughout
the validity of this timetable. As part of this work, train
services through Reading during Easter 2013 will be
affected with train diversions and rail replacement
buses in operation. Full details of this work and how it
affects your journey will be widely available on our
website and at stations. If you are travelling to, or
changing trains at Reading station, please allow
yourself extra time to make your journey and take
extra care while using the station. For more

TRAVEL INFORMATION

ZONE FARES

The Severn Beach Line provides a valuable link, enabling people to quickly and conveniently
commute to work, go shopping or visit friends and family.

There are two fare zones on the Severn

Beach Line, with a zonal boundary at
Clifton Down.

If your journey covers both zones there

is a line fare of 2 single, 3 return and
9 for a weekly season ticket.

If you are travelling in the inner zone

(between Temple Meads, Lawrence Hill,
Stapleton Road, Montpelier, Redland
and Clifton Down) the fare will be 1.50
single, 2 return and 6 for a weekly
season ticket.

Examples:

During the daytime on Mondays to Fridays there are generally three trains every two hours
between Avonmouth and Bristol Temple Meads, with one train every two hours extended to
Severn Beach. The first weekday service departs Bristol Temple Meads at 0524 and Severn
Beach at 0603.
On Saturdays trains to Severn Beach run every two hours. There is also a connecting bus
service between Avonmouth and Severn Beach. Please check the timetable for details.
On Sundays there is an hourly daytime service to Avonmouth.
