Into the Forest of Fireflies' Light Review 6-year old Hotaru is lost in the woods and crying desperately for help when she is saved by a mysterious spirit of the forest named Gin. He tells Hotaru that if she touches him, he will disappear. Despite this situation, hotaru and Gin eventually become friends and spends every summertime together. Into the Forest of Fireflies light tells about their love and distance between them. The story is more on forbidden love clich genre nonetheless it was kind of interesting. Both characters are fun to watch. The movie is mostly told in her perspective and her narration and even
though the movie is short, their characters are impressive and consistent. Hotaru as a child is the adorably naive type who when told not to touch an object, will do it otherwise, and yet she fails to be either whiny or frustratingly weak, being the sort of toddler you look forward to watching grow up. Even though she knows about Gins state, she tries not to fall inlove and agrees with what she can have. Gins character despite having an sad mysterious background, his character is refreshing, tranquil, and doesnt fail to impress the audience. Gin explains that wearing the mask is to show that he is not a human and amplifies mysteriousness. But his character is light and not intimidating. The story is told in a good a pace. Unlike other romantic and cheesy movies, the two shows how their love progresses without being romantic or having intimate moments. It ends well without being too melodramatic and overtold. Within 45 minutes everything was told thoroughly with so much emotional development and meanings. 1. What does the artist say? He tells a story of forbidden love and how will they cope with each other and how their love and distance will affect the story. 2. How does he say it? The writer tells the story in a good pace and mysterious at first. As the story goes by it develops gradually on how will it end with the story-elements like their forbidden love.

3. How well does he say it? It is said in slow and good pace and the characters are detailed and well-written. Even though it is a short movie, the writer have put all the details needed for the story to develop. 4. Is it worth saying? Yes since I appreciated the movie and it has many values and lessons we can learn like their culture difference, affections shared by the characters, and the overall story. All kinds of ages can watch this movie.
