Poland has played the role of a “doormat” in world history, but in
the last thirty years they have come back and are better than ever.

Poland is an ancient nation that

partitioned Poland amongst
themselves. Poland regained its
independence in 1918 only to be
overrun by Germany and the
Soviet Union in World War II.

government was comparatively

 Coffee Club Makeover
King’s Kids, the ministry I will be joining in Poland, was given a building by the local government a few
years back. The Club is located in one of the largest “Communist Block” communities in Katowice with
lots of youth in the area. The building itself is not in the best condition, but it has been a joy to see
renovations take place and make the Club a “cool” place for the kid’s to hang out. Recently, the
missionaries and some youth gave the Coffee Club area of the building a makeover. I love the coffee
shop atmosphere and so I am excited to hang out here and have deep conversations about Jesus Christ
with the kids. Pictures above are before and after shots of the Coffee Club

Ognisko
In July, I had the opportunity to bring a piece of Poland to
Colorado through a Polish cookout. A group of friends
gathered around the fire and roasted kielbasa
(sausage). The big hit of the evening was using
the napkins which were the same thickness of
tissue paper. As you can imagine napkins like
that usually render themselves useless!

Financial Update
I am beginning the process of meeting with
individuals to share what God is doing in Poland and how He has called me to work with at-risk kids.
Your prayers are greatly appreciated as I look for opportunities to share my heart. The last few months
have brought many blessings from God and I am excited to see what other surprises He has up His
sleeve!

I am currently at 10% of my monthly expenses and 66% of my out-going expenses!
