NIOS Admission
NIOS has introduced 100% On-line admission in order to facilitate learners in registering themselves with it. Offline admission quota has been dispensed with. Under this scheme learners have the options to: Register themselves On-line directly May visit their nearest Accredited Institution (AI) (study centre)/Facilitation Centre and take their help for On-line registration. May visit their Regional Centre for on line-registration.

Stream 1

This stream for online Admission is Open for new Learners till 31.08.2010 till 5:00 PM as per the laid down eligibility criteria for (Online Admission for all learners 2010- Secondary & Sr. Secondary Levels. This stream for Online admission is for all eligible appearing learners or who had appeared but could not clear the Public Examination of (Online Admissions for learners wanting Secondary/Senior Secondary Levels from any recognized to appear in October- November, 2010 Examination Board for the same subject combination in which they Examinations): had appeared or eligible for appearing. admission under this stream is limited to the availability of seats in ODES with an option of Examination Centre at the Regional Centre and at Head Quarter. Requisite Fees in the Form of DD in Favour of Secretary NIOS payable at NOIDA/DELHI or through Online Payment through Credit (Master or Visa)/Debit Card (Visa only of select Bank) Stream 4 The following category of learners are eligible for Online Admission Stream IV and is open throughout the year.

Online Admission for Sr.Secondary for learners wanting to appear in On1. Learners who have already passed Sr.Secondary or above from Demand Examination at Sr. Secondary. recognized Board/University and want to take part admission in one subject or up to 4 subjects for updating their qualification as (Available only On Line) well as the learners should have passed Secondary class (class 10th) from any recognized Board. The learners who had appeared but could not clear the Public Examination of Sr.Secondary Level from any recognized Examination Board in the same subject combination in which they had appeared and want to appear through On Demand Examination System of NIOS at Sr.Secondary level as well as the learners should have passed Secondary class (class 10th) from any recognized Board.

This stream for On-line admission is open throughout the year.
