THE EVENT

The inspiration happened as registered within the scans section i. As there are 15 proposed
zodiacal positions for the Sun and 16 ascendants, we thought of promoting yet another
position for the Sun. In theory, that would match the 16 ascendants with the 16 zodiacal
positions of the Sun. With some minor departing from the too strict application of the
IAU convention, all the 16 stations for the Sun would be applicable for astrological use
from this moment on. The application would be strictly astrological, as it has no
astronomical value.

RATIONALE

While Sun in Ophiuchus is a standard zodiacal station for the Sun and all the planets1, the
special position of Sun in Orion cashes on the Sun's lower limb. Sun in Cetus would
strain tolerance towards imagination a little further, since albeit the Sun is close to the
Cetus star on spring equinox, it is in Pisces according to the IAU borders. Sun in Orion is
not only a workable proposition, but a very likely candidate for the central zodiacal
position of the Sun, thus Age of Orion; the Golden Age of Egypt. Sun in Orion has been
largely presented within such publications as Orion Days – Sun in Orion, Mercury in

Earth's satellite Moon including.
Orion2 and O5IRIS. Over the years, we got accustomed to count on Sun in Orion as
zodiacal station, much as we observed e.g. Moon in Orion on 9-11. It happens that Sun in
Sextans has an affinity with that ominous date! The Sun is already past Sextans on 9-11
but still hovering over the Sextans stars. When a New Moon happens in Sextans, it is
logical to assume that the Sun is at least near Sextans. Thus, in offering Sun in Sextans,
we actually have it brushing by the IAU border. Strict rules still apply.

MOON IN SEXTANS

Moon in Sextans births make excellent architects, mediators and Masons. The Moon
enters Sextans quite often, much as Mercury and Venus regularly do3. Sextans is of
course a regular zodiacal constellation, in fact one of the most popular in Masonry. This
little but important mediator between the longest and the hottest zodiacal constellation 4
has everything to say about balance, success and uprightness. It is a honest constellation
that bestows special talents to one's financial genius.

MERCURY IN SEXTANS

Sextans also loves artists. Keanu Reeves, Neo from Matrix the movie, has Mercury in
Sextans. Mercury ascending in Sextans affords for special talent in an exorcist and
Mason.

VENUS IN SEXTANS

Beautiful and successful women may have an especially long natal transit of Venus in
Sextans. Of course, when Venus enters Hydra after its Sextans sojourn, it plunges into the
occult waters of the Academic Zodiac with the mission to discern avatar from Antichrist5.
