San Francisco 1980 1994 DanceArtCompany, own duet dance company , 40 choreographers created pieces for us ,which toured internationally, worked with Merce Cunningham, Lucas Hoving, Cliff Keuter, Joanna Haigood among others. Positions since 1994 include Artistic Director of Glyndebourne Youth Opera 1997 - 2007 Outreach Artist for the De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill 1996-2000 Co-founded Shaping Voices in 2000, a company that uses creative reminiscence and heritage projects to bring the arts to older people. Opera: as Director, Associate Director and Movement Director, 1996-2013 Work as Associate Director for Peter Sellars included iconic productions such as Tristan and Isolde (with Bill Viola), which premiered at Paris Opera in 2005 and the Theodora premiere at Glyndebourne Opera in 1996. Other opera work has been undertaken for: Glyndebourne Opera, Paris Opera, Canadian Opera Company, Toronto, Den Jyske, Denmark, Theatre Colon, Buenos Aires, LA Phil, Los Angeles, Barbican, London, Vienna Festival, Opera Holland Park, Scottish Opera, Opera North, Garsington Opera, Finnish Opera, Helsinki, State

Community Projects Clare's community projects, as Director, Writer, Choreographer, Collaborator have ranged from 1 to 700 people, include all ages and abilities, amateur and professional, in performances spaces to historical and outdoor sites and using all arts forms to create performances. She has worked on community projects with the Royal Festival Hall, British Museum, Hackney Empire, Imperial War Museum, Handel House, Sadlers Wells, Utrecht Festival, Aldeburgh, Northlands Festival, Nuremberg, Goldsmiths, Queen Mary, University of London, schools throughout London especially Hackney and Southwark, at communities all over the UK especially Sussex, and prisons including Wormwood Scrubs, Holloway, Lewes and Feltham Young Offenders.
