THANKSGIVING

Thanksgivings Turkeys are steaming, gathered laughing and family time creates what we call Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a vital holiday and is cherished greatly. Thanksgiving is cherished so greatly that John Currin and Norman Rockwell created beautiful artworks to show the significance of the holiday. John Currins Thanksgiving (Figure 1) and Norman Rockwells Freedom from Want (Figure 2) are quite similar yet display a few differences. Three areas in which they are associated are mood, photograph selection, and representation of the message. The mood of Thanksgiving and Freedom from Want stands out the most. Thanksgiving (Figure 1) presents a playful yet loving mood. As the family is preparing for dinner, they are playing around with a presence of affection. In like manner, Freedom from Want (Figure 2) presents a loving mood similarly but is less playful than

Thanksgiving (Figure 1). In like fashion, Freedom from Want (Figure 2) does present a joking mood, as everyone is laughing around the table. Moreover, Freedom from Want (Figure 2) seems a bit more proper and formal. Additionally, the photograph selection of Thanksgiving and Freedom from Want is extremely essential. with a raw turkey and joking around while doing so. Thanksgiving (Figure 1) presents the events that take place before the great feast. Similarly, Freedom from Want displays the family joking around. However, the family is sitting at the table with a cooked turkey beginning to partake in their dinner. Freedom from Want (Figure 2) shows the great feast the finished product, if you shall. Lastly, the representation of the image of Thanksgiving (Figure 1) and Freedom from Want (Figure 2) is tremendously popular. Thanksgiving dinners bring family together for an excellent and heart-warming time together. Thanksgiving (Figure 1) exhibits the great times families have during Thanksgiving. The siblings are feeding each other and wear gigantic smiles. In the same way, Freedom from Want (Figure 2) shows how families come together for this grand day. Freedom from Want shows the family at the dinner table cackling and enjoying each others company. All in all, Thanksgiving is a holiday that America celebrates strongly every year. As pounds

values. They are associated within mood, photograph selection, and representation of the image.
