Thorlabs offers a full range of 10x10x10mm, 20mm x 20mm x 20mm, and 25.4mm x 25.4mm x 25.4mm beam-splitting cubes. All of these cubes are designed to provide a 50:50 split ratio independent of beam polarization while working over a broad wavelength range. Models are offered for the 400-700nm, 700-1100nm, and 1100-1600nm operating ranges. The entrance and exit faces are AR coated while the internal diagonal surface has a broadband beamsplitting coating. Since they are polarization independent, these cubes are suitable for a large number of applications. By using a cube rather than a coated round optic, the displacement of the beam transmitted through the cube is virtually eliminated.

Cube-Mounted Beamsplitter Cubes

We have taken some of our most popular beamsplitters and have packaged them to reduce the time needed for prototyping, experimenting, and production. Each optic is mounted in a 1.5" (38.1mm) square cube and pre-aligned to be easily built into systems using Thorlabs SM1 series lens tubes and 1" cage systems. Beamsplitters have been aligned so the reflected portion of the beam exits within 5arcmin of 90.
