The advertisement I chose was an ad by Levi. It says Everybodys work is equally important. It uses a very monochromatic color scheme with the brand name in a red box. It uses the red to highlight the brand. Also there are three people in the image all dressed in a different way. They each add a possible different interpretation. Looking at this advertisement initially I just took notice to the fact that there were two males and one female. I viewed it as them saying as a womans work can be equal to mans work. But wh en I looked at it again I noticed that the man in the center looks more aged than the other two. That could come across as possibly a dad and his youth. While the man in the center seem to be dressed more uniformed the others seem to be a bit more casual. Which could show how everybodys work together of all ages to build a more successful society. It could also show how one day the young people of this generations work will be important. One possible bias that I saw was that the used people from the same ethnicity*. Maybe they shouldve added some distinction between ethnicities to include all people. This advertisement promotes themes of equality and interconnectedness. Showing how all work is important, everybodys different jobs working together to create unity. It uses the words to grab the attention and then the image to be viewed later. The advertisement reaches an audience of both adults and youth. Also possibly people from different socioeconomic classes. Who see this as bringing people together even through their differences. They used a gray scale / monochromatic type of color scheme. It seems to change the time period of this article. It kind of takes you back to the black & white times. I think they may have used this to add to the unity and equality of differences. But I also noticed that in the other three advertisements they used the same type of color scheme. Maybe thats a traditional scheme for denim advertisements. I noticed that the guess and lee cooper ad used the same branding identity method by putting their brand names in red as well. Also the lee cooper ad is using a quote about work as well. All the ads are similar in the way the color is used and what their advertising. But they leave the rest of it up to the audience to interpret the actual text. Levi used their image and words to connect with an audience on different levels both emotionally and mentally. So that there not just selling their brand. But also the morals of the company. *

Comment [v1]: Make sure the format of the paper in in MLA to make sure points do not get taken off when you finally submit it. Change the font to Times New Roman, make sure everything is double spaced, and dont forget to put the page number with your last name at the top of the pages

Comment [v2]: Expand upon how audiences of different ethnicities may view the ad since only one ethnicity is shown

Comment [v3]: Give more depth to how adults and youth see this ad. Also explain how, and possibly give examples on how varying socioeconomic classes interpret this ad. What would a person from a not so fortunate background see this ad? What about someone who had a richer background?

Comment [v4]: Comparisons are very clear

Comment [v5]: A conclusion seems to be missing, just add a paragraph to the end of the paper that sums up all your ideas and bring finality to the paper. Overall your ideas are clear and coherent I would just expand upon them so that future readers get more of an in depth insight to your ideas.
