This step-by-step article describes how to install and configure a .ile Transfer Protocol /.TP0 server for anonymous access.

Install Internet Information Services and the FTP Service


1ecause .TP depends on )icrosoft 3nternet 3nformation Services /33S04 33S and the .TP Service must be installed on the computer. To install 33S and the .TP Service4 follow these steps.

N T!5 3n Windows Server !66 4 the .TP Service is not installed by default when you install 33S. 3f you already installed 33S on the computer4 you must use the *dd or +emove Programs tool in Control Panel to install the .TP Service.
