Colegio Biblico of Eagle Pass, Texas has added a new department - a Correspondence Course of Evangelism for those unable to attend Colegio
Biblico. To head this new department, the Alumni Association selected

Brother Isaias Escobedo, of whom President Harlan Gary writes, "in my

judgment this was a very wise choice. When Brother Eshobedo was in

school here, he proved himself to be a very good scribe; possibly one

of the best writers ever attending this school."

Brother Escobedo is a native of Mexico and is abundantly able to pre pare the Evangelism Correspondence courses in his native language. He and his wife Theo have worked for a number of years in the San Luis Potosi, S.L.P., area of Mexico as missionaries. During this time of service they were instrumental in establishing new congregations after the New Testament pattern, and a Christian Service Camp. This new opportunity opens a "more effectual door" to Mexico's multitudes to
know Jesus Christ and His salvation. Who knows but that Brother Escobedo

has "come to the Kingdom for such a time as this?"

Colegio Biblico is a missionary college, and as such does not pay her
personnel, but requires each to raise his or their own support. Conse

quently, the Escobedos will be dependent entirely on the Lord's people to furnish the support they need, which is $150.00 per week plus

$100.00 per month housing.

Mrs. Escobedo is presently working in a

local factory to supplement their income, but it is hoped that you Christian brethren will respond to this appeal to the extent that suffi cient support will enable her to devote full time to the rearing of their family of 3 school age children and assisting her husband in this new work. She is a graduate of Ozark Bible College and is trained in
the Mexican language. (Isaias also studied at Ozark in addition to his studies at Colegio Biblico.)

We here at Lake Ellen have supported the Escobedos for the past five years, and will continue, having just recently increased our monthly support for them by 100%. We hope to add more as soon as possible. We urge you to include them in your missionary giving (if you are not already doing so) and help them in this new effort for more native
Mexicans to be trained to tell the good news of Jesus Christ and His

glorious church!
