The Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas and ALPFA will terminate its two-year relationship in operating

the ALPFA Institute, effective September 30, 2013. The ALPFA Institute was launched September 16, 2011 in order to develop cutting edge research in the fields of global leadership and global diversity and inclusion in addition to developing practical and tangible leadership programming for industry and government. During these two years the ALPFA Institute has established a presence and built a recognizable brand in the Northwest Arkansas Community by serving 67 companies and delivering quality programs and advisory services. As well, the Walton College of Business has continued to deliver high-quality programs for its 4800 students and professional development for its partner companies. Both the University of Arkansas and ALPFA appreciate the industry support in achieving these accomplishments. The Walton College and ALPFA agree that termination of the relationship would be beneficial to both parties in order for the College and ALPFA to pursue their respective strategic directions. ALPFA will continue operations in Northwest Arkansas through its Northwest Arkansas Professional Chapter and its University of Arkansas Student Chapter. ALPFAs CEO, Manny Espinoza states ALPFA is fully committed to the Northwest Arkansas Community and wants to thank the University of Arkansas for a great partnership The ALPFA Institute will move its operations to New York, and the Walton College will continue working with ALPFA's student chapter.
